Georgia Toffolo has opened up about her battle with acne and how it affected her self-confidence.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 29, previously opened up about her “all-consuming battle” with the skin condition after first suffering from it as a teenager.
Georgia, nicknamed Toff, partnered with Philips on a new confidence campaign and began reflecting on her own confidence journey as a result.
The I’m a Celebrity winner said her experience in the jungle, where makeup is considered a luxury item and not worn, was the start of her “weird little journey” with her skin.
And when she returned to South Africa’s All Stars in 2023, Toff appeared bare-faced again on television.

The 29-year-old former Made in Chelsea star has previously opened up about her “all-consuming battle” with the skin condition.
She told MailOnline: “I was really nervous about it.
“And it was so strange. I thought my skin would be much better, but it’s not.
“What I realized over the years was that actually all the tests I took, everything I tried, caused flare-ups in the skin that were very related to stress levels.”
She previously said she didn’t feel completely at home on the show without her “war paint” and the ability to disguise herself with concealer as she suffered a seizure during filming.
Now Toff has partnered with Philips to celebrate the launch of the new Sonicare DiamondClean Prestige 9900 and its accompanying confidence campaign.
Toff, who has been very open about her journey to self-confidence, is helping boost others’ self-confidence by sharing research that the average Brit needs an average of 16 confidence boosts a month to feel better about themselves.
This could include brushing your teeth, receiving compliments, and answering a quiz question correctly.
She continued: “I’ve talked about it quite a bit in this campaign and it’s been great.

Toff has revealed she wanted to “normalize” acne when she showed off her makeup-free skin on I’m a Celebrity South Africa.
She previously revealed she “lived in fear” of people finding out how bad her acne was at the height of her breakouts when she was younger.
“I always tried to divert people’s attention to my smile, which I always liked, as opposed to maybe some of the more severe acne I had around my cheeks.
“This campaign I’m working on and the prestige of diamond clarity has been a dream come true for me because I honestly think faking it ’til you make it with a smile is one of the most powerful things you can do.” do because it looks like it.
Despite difficulties in the past, Toff said she now “feels good” and is “confident.”
She continued: “My skin actually made me feel insecure.
“When I came out of the jungle, I had a little trolling. But I did this amazing job on This Morning and it was very simple: I just took off my makeup.
“I was so worried about what people would say about my acne. But I just continued. I looked down the barrel of the camera. I said some nasty things that I read on social media and it had this effect.
“From that day on, trolling seemed to evaporate.”
Toff previously revealed that she used to “live in fear” of people finding out how bad her acne was at the height of her breakouts when she was younger.
The former MIC favorite told in her ITV documentary Finding Perfect Skin how she had a “horribly low opinion of herself” at the time.
She said she gets up very early every morning so she can cover herself with layers of makeup.
In June, she revealed she was undergoing the Potenza treatment, which she explained would help clear up acne scarring using radiofrequency and microneedling technology.
