David Moyes is said to be unimpressed with West Ham playing a Premier League game on Transfer Deadline Day for the second time this season.

The Hammers entertain Bournemouth on Thursday night as they look to bounce back from a disappointing 2-2 draw with Sheffield United and an embarrassing FA Cup exit to Bristol City.

It comes after they traveled to Luton on September 1 – the deadline day of the summer window – meaning their hopes of a last-minute boost are once again compromised.

On that occasion they beat the Hatters 2-1 thanks to goals from Jarrod Bowen and Kurt Zouma, but tonight they face an in-form Bournemouth side who have won eight of their last 11 games in all competitions.

West Ham attempted to sign Cherries’ talisman Dominic Solanke this summer but their bid, described as a ‘huge offer’, was rejected.

West Ham are unlikely to add anyone today after Ibrahim Osman of Danish Nordsjaelland (left) and Al-Ittihad’s Jota (right) encountered complications.

As of this morning, the Hammers are not expected to bring anyone in today, with the only business expected to be Said Benrahma’s £15m move to Lyon if it does indeed get over the line.

West Ham were interested in Ibrahim Osman from Danish Nordsjaelland and Al-Ittihad’s Jota, but the potential transfers have encountered complications.

It now looks like Kalvin Phillips will be the club’s only arrival in this window, unless a target suddenly becomes available later on.
