Now we know who wears the pants! Matt Damon walks one step BEHIND wife Luciana Barroso as he carries all the luggage while they exit a NYC hotel

Matt Damon was one step behind his wife Luciana Barroso as they left their hotel in New York on Monday morning.

The 53-year-old actor also carried all the luggage – a heavy backpack and a bag for clothes – while his beloved only had an expensive Louis Vuitton handbag on her shoulder.

The two, who have been married for almost 20 years and have four daughters together, appeared to be in great spirits, smiling and laughing.

They both sport a casual figure in comfortable clothes.

The Good Will Hunting star, who showed off his toned figure during a recent vacation in Miami, opted for a white long-sleeve T-shirt and skinny charcoal jeans. Damon also wore white sneakers and a black cap, and carried a black backpack with him when leaving the hotel.

Barroso chose a light beige sweater, which he wore under a darker, bulkier cardigan.

The actor’s wife also wore tan trousers, as well as a Louis Vuitton handbag and wide-framed sunglasses.

Her beautiful dark hair was pulled back into a loose bun as she stepped out with her husband.

Damon met his wife while working on the 2003 comedy Stuck on You.

The couple got engaged in September 2005 and tied the knot in a wedding ceremony that took place in December of the same year.

The Invictus star and his wife have since welcomed three daughters: Isabella, 16, Gia, 14, and Stella, 13.

Damon is also stepfather to Barroso’s eldest daughter Alexia, 24, whom she welcomed during her first marriage.

The actor spoke about his relationship with his wife in an interview with the magazine. Jake’s viewswhere he noted that her influence helped him cope with a particularly daunting project.

The performer recalled that after his family went to spend time with him at an undisclosed film location, he felt he had “inconvenienced them” by completing the film.

The Saving Private Ryan star added that his wife “really helped me through this.”
