Prince Andrew breaks cover as he goes for a horse ride in Windsor – a week after Netflix’s Scoop aired about his car crash, interviewing Newsnight aired.

Prince Andrew broke the veil today as he headed for a horse ride in Windsor, a week after Netflix drama Scoop – alongside his disastrous Newsnight interview – aired.

The Duke of York, 64, was accompanied by a groom as he headed for a walk near his Royal Lodge home.

Ditching his usual warm coats as the spring air heads south, the King’s brother opted for a maroon sweater, navy jodhpurs and riding boots.

He added a helmet for added safety.

Seemingly ignoring any rumblings of royal drama, the eighth in line to the throne went about business as usual today.

It comes a week after Netflix’s film, Scoop, was released.

The show centers on his Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis – something that was widely seen as disastrous.

The new Netflix film, based on the book by former BBC producer Sam McAlister, features the fateful interview in which Ms Maitlis grilled the Duke over the sex allegations made against him by Ms Giuffre.

Scoop shows the moment the Queen’s son naively declared ‘it went well, didn’t it’ after the interview and how he joked about meeting pedophile Epstein in New York.

Andrew was pilloried for his TV appearance for his lack of remorse over his friendship with the pedophile and his inability to express sympathy for the dozens of women Epstein trafficked and abused over three decades.

His alibi for not having sex with Virginia Roberts three times, including being in Woking’s Pizza Express, has also been widely ridiculed by the public.

Princess Eugenie looked beautiful in gray this week as she met the US ambassador to the UK at Winfield House to discuss green fashion.

Prince Andrew and Sarah’s daughter, the Duchess of York, wore a Gabriela Hearst Amor Knit Cashmere Silk Dress in Heather Gray and Gianvito Rossi’s 105 Pumps.

It’s Eugenie’s first public appearance since Scoop aired on Netflix. The Gillian Anderson show is a dramatization of her father’s disastrous Newsnight interview.

The US ambassador to the UK, Jane Hartley, joined Eugenie.

Ms Hartley hosted a reception and panel discussion on the fashion industry’s commitment to sustainability at her Regent’s Park residence, Winfield House.

It has been a difficult start to the year for the royal family.

Prince Andrew’s ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, is battling cancer.

His brother King Charles and the nephew’s wife Kate Middleton are all also being treated for cancer.
