Republicans voted today to formalize the ongoing impeachment investigation of President Joe Biden into his family’s shady business dealings.

Since early 2023, Republicans have been investigating Joe Biden for his alleged ties to his son Hunter’s hugely lucrative multimillion-dollar influence trading scheme, spanning decades.

But how did Hunter get his hands on a 2.8-carat diamond from the Chinese, $83,000 a month from the Ukrainians, and $1 million from the mysterious Romanians?

The GOP claims they are trading on the Biden family’s powerful “brand.”

It is estimated that up to $40 million was received through 20 shell companies and fake accounts created while Joe Biden was vice president while he joined Hunter’s business calls and dropped in on lavish dinners.

From using pseudonyms in at least 82,000 emails to discuss shady deals in Ukraine to an alleged $10 million bribery scheme and giving Hunter access to fly on Air Force Two or more, the president’s involvement in his son’s business is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore. .

Now Joe himself is at the center of a Republican-led impeachment investigation over his alleged involvement in a lucrative scheme with foreign adversaries of the United States.

In September, former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy unilaterally launched an impeachment inquiry into the Biden family’s “culture of corruption,” which he said could ruin President Biden’s political career.

Since then, the House Oversight, Judiciary and Budget Committees have issued subpoenas to key figures involved, including Hunter Biden, James Biden and other family members, donors and business associates.

President Biden has maintained his innocence, saying he was never involved in his son’s business dealings. The White House has opposed the GOP probe, saying it is political and a “desperate” attempt to smear Biden.

But Republicans say the administration is blocking their requests for more information and a formal impeachment vote would force them to hand over documents and testify.
