With the WNBA Draft happening Monday night, Angel Reese is ready and dressed for the occasion.
After the candidates arrived in New York City and toured the Empire State Building on Monday morning, they prepared for the ceremony, where they will wait to hear their names called in the selections.
In a video shared by the WNBA’s social media, Reese stunned in a black and silver dress ahead of the draft. The unique backless dress also featured a hood, which Reese wore halfway through.
Bayou Barbie paired the dress with Louis Vuitton shoes and a silver bracelet on each wrist.
The clip showed Reese posing for the cameras before boarding a bus, presumably to the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where the draft will take place.

Mock draft has projected the former LSU star to be the 7th overall pick by the Chicago Sky. Should the pick happen, it would pair Reese with South Carolina star and projected third-round pick Kamilla Cardoso in the Windy City.
Iowa Hawkeyes and college basketball sensation Caitlin Clark is expected to be selected first by the Indian Fever. Meanwhile, Stanford’s Cameron Brink is expected to stay in California with the LA Sparks’ second pick.
The power forward played two years at the University of Maryland before finishing her career in Baton Rouge with the Tigers.
After losing to Clark and the Hawkeyes in the Elite 8 this season, Reese declared for the WNBA Draft and waived her option to use a fifth year of college eligibility.
Reese’s NCAA career was highlighted by her national championship win with LSU in 2023. The title capped her best season in which Reese averaged 23 points, 15.4 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.6 blocks per game.
During his collegiate career, Reese played in 116 games and averaged 18.6 points, 12.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists for the Terrapins and Tigers.
