Angelina Jolie looked incredible as she attended the Broadway opening of her musical, The Outsiders, on Thursday.

The Oscar-winning actress, 48, who is embroiled in a lawsuit with ex-husband Brad Pitt, 60, over their French vineyard, wowed in a shimmering metallic gold dress teamed with a rust-coloured cape as she posed.

The star wore her blonde locks in soft waves and sported smoky eye make-up and red lipstick.

The Bone Collector star was joined by daughter Vivienne, 15, at the premiere. The two worked together on the project in particular because of the teenager’s interest in theater. Vivienne first saw a production of the musical in San Diego.

Vivienne wore a stylish blue jumpsuit to the event as she joined the cast and her mum on the red carpet.

In a statement last year, Jolie said her daughter, ‘reminds me of my mother because she’s not focused on being the center of attention, but on being a supporter of other creatives.’

“She is very thoughtful and serious about theater and works hard to best understand how to contribute,” the actress continued.

‘I hope to contribute as I continue to learn from this amazing team that I have worked with since my daughter brought me to see the show at the La Jolla Playhouse.’

“I cannot begin to express how excited I am for this musical to make its Broadway debut and look forward to sharing this new adaptation of The Outsiders with the world.”

Angelina’s outing comes after her legal team said Brad Pitt was physically abusive to her before their row on a plane in 2016, in newly filed legal documents linked to the former couple’s battle over their French vineyard.

Attorneys for Jolie filed papers Thursday in a Los Angeles County Superior Court case saying Pitt had a history of being physically aggressive toward Jolie before the well-documented row on Sept. 14, 2016, during a flight from Nice, France to LA

Pitt has denied all allegations of physical abuse and was not charged during an FBI investigation into the incident; TheWSTNews.com has reached out to Pitt’s representatives for comment on the story.

“While Pitt’s history of physically abusing Jolie began long before the family’s flight from France to Los Angeles in September 2016, this flight marked the first time he also turned his physical abuse on the children,” Jolie’s legal team said in court filings about the ongoing lawsuits.

A source close to the Maleficent actress said Pitt refused to enter domestic violence counseling and ignored serious family issues by seeking partial custody of their six children: Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15.

“Pitt never came to this understanding and sought not only 50-50 custody time — including with children with whom he had not had a stable relationship for years — but also sought sole custody if the children were not sufficiently attached to him,” Jolie’s said lawyers. told the court in legal documents.

Jolie’s legal team said in their filing Thursday that “despite this troubling request, Jolie still did not seek custody” of the children.

‘Instead, she advocated for the children’s wishes and needs to be prioritized, among other things based on what the children felt they could do, and for a custody plan that is formulated in the children’s best interest to heal.’

Jolie’s attorney Paul Murphy told TheWSTNews.com in a statement that the information in Thursday’s filing reveals why the Fight Club actor wanted Jolie to sign a nondisclosure agreement amid the separation.

‘Sir. Pitt refused to buy Ms. Jolie’s interest as she would not be silenced by his NDA,’ Murphy said.

‘By refusing to buy her interest but then suing her, Mr Pitt directly called into question why this NDA was so important to him and what he hoped it would bury: his abuse of Ms Jolie and their family. After eight months of delays, this motion asks the court to compel Mr. Pitt to finally produce this evidence.’

An insider close to the situation told TheWSTNews.com that the Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood actor has caused himself problems with his long-running lawsuit over the French winery.

“Pitt is pulling all of this out of Angelina,” the insider said. ‘She doesn’t want to be here, she doesn’t want to raise any of these facts, and she’s only doing it because Pitt’s lawsuit against her forces her to defend herself.’

The insider described the situation as ‘incredibly sad’ and added that Jolie ‘just wishes’ Pitt ‘could move on and leave her alone’.

By prolonging the legal battle over the winery — which the former couple bought in 2008 for $28.4 million — Pitt has left himself more exposed to additional problematic claims that could circulate through the legal system and subsequently to the public, the insider said.

Pitt has since accused Jolie of being a ‘hypocrite’ because he claimed he wanted her to sign an NDA to ‘control’ the actress while she sold their French vineyard.

The actor’s lawyers informed the LA Superior Court on Friday that Jolie’s claims regarding the NDA were merely a cover to ‘rationalize’ betraying Brad, per TMZ. His legal team also claimed that Angelina had asked Pitt to sign an NDA months later.
