An “anti-Semite” who punched a 23-year-old Israeli tourist in New York’s Times Square while shouting “Hamas should kill more than you” has been charged with a hate crime, prosecutors announced.

Yehya Amin, 28, was charged with assault, stalking and aggravated harassment as part of a hate crime, Manhattan prosecutors said Tuesday.

During the Oct. 18 attack, the victim, who was wearing a kippah, was walking through Times Square with four of his friends, who were all wearing the traditional head covering worn by Jewish men, according to the DA’s office.

District Attorney Alvin Bragg alleged that Amin “taunted and struck the tourist after harassing his friends and launching a vile anti-Semitic tirade that lasted several minutes.”

He vowed that “violence fueled by hatred and discrimination will not be tolerated in Manhattan.”

The victim, an Israeli Jewish tourist whose name has not been released, was visiting Times Square with a group of four male friends.

Approaching 7th Avenue from 42nd Street, the young men walked past Amin, who began following them when he learned they were Jewish, according to court documents.

Amin followed the group for several blocks, playing what he called “Hamas music” on his Bluetooth speaker.

During the angry tirade, he made chillingly anti-Semitic and anti-Israel remarks, including: “Hamas should kill more than you.”

He chanted, “May Allah kill you… May Allah kill all Jews” and “All Jews must die,” according to court documents.

He shouted: “I want to die for Gaza.” “I want to kill you” and “I want to kill you for Gaza.”

As they tried to get to the station, Amin reportedly ran up behind the victim and punched him in the back of the head. Hill reported.

As he tried to flee the scene, he was pursued by a group, including a police officer, who took him into custody, the news outlet reported.
