Arsenal vs Liverpool takes prime Sunday slot on TV while Alan Shearer doesn’t get his Newcastle wish… full fixture dates and television picks revealed for the FA Cup third round

Arsenal and Liverpool will take place at 4.30pm on Sunday 7 January in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Premier League match will be the only FA Cup game to be televised on the day and will be shown on the BBC.

Newcastle’s trip to Sunderland will be broadcast on Saturday 6 January on ITV at 12.45pm (meaning Alan Shearer will not be covering his old club), while Middlesbrough and Aston Villa will be watching her at 17:30 on the BBC.

Crystal Palace and Everton kick off at 8pm on Thursday 4 January at 8pm on ITV.

Tottenham and Burnley will then bring some Friday night football to fans when they clash at 8pm on ITV on January 5th.
