All Elite Wrestling’s footage of the backstage match at ‘All In: London’ showed CM Punk starting the incident by walking up to Jack Perry, shoving him, putting him in a chokehold and throwing a punch step away from the Wembley Stadium crowd.

The footage of the incident aired live on AEW’s weekly television show, ‘Dynamite’, just over a week after Punk, who has since signed with WWE, trashed the company during a two-hour interview with journalist Ariel Helwani.

The footage directly contradicts a few things Punk told Helwani and implied as fact.

AEW’s taping from last August lasted just under a minute, but did not show the reported incident that company CEO Tony Khan is allegedly referring to when he ‘feared for his life’, leading to Punk’s firing weeks later.

Punk allegedly pushed Khan against television screens in the AEW production area later that evening.
