Charlamagne tha God urges President Joe Biden to ‘give America the ultimate Christmas gift’ by withdrawing from the presidential race and warns him not to make the same mistake as Ruth Bader Ginsburg

As a guest on The Daily Show, Charlamagne God said the “best Christmas gift” would be for President Joe Biden to withdraw from the 2024 race and implored him not to make the same mistake as Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

On Wednesday, the “Breakfast Club” host criticized Biden for his age and said the best gift the president could give the country this holiday season is to let someone younger run for the White House.

“Biden is not getting any younger. He won’t become more popular and he won’t have a new running mate. Please, Mr. President, give America a real Christmas gift and step aside,” Charlamagne said.

During his monologue, a clip was shown of the president saying that he believes 50 other Democrats can defeat Trump, but he will do it.

“This is Biden’s ego talking. If you think there are other people who can beat him, step aside, okay,” Charlamagne said.

On Tuesday, the president told supporters at a fundraiser near Boston that Trump poses a serious threat to democracy.

“If Trump hadn’t run, I’m not sure I would have run,” Biden said. “But we can’t let him win for the sake of our country.”

Charlamagne said: “I know he thinks he has everything in hand, but the polls say otherwise. I want Biden to intervene to defeat Trump, just as I want him to intervene to protect me during a bar fight. I appreciate your concern, but I don’t like our chances.

A review of three key battlegrounds published by DailyMail.com on Monday showed Trump is on track to win back Arizona and Georgia, while Biden leads in Wisconsin.

The results suggest Biden’s coalition of liberal white voters and minorities may not hold together.

The radio host compared Biden’s decision to run at his age to calls for Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to resign during Barack Obama’s presidency.

Charlamagne said: “We don’t need Biden to beat Donald Trump, just like we don’t need RBG to stay on the court, okay? Perhaps if RBG had resigned during the Obama years, we would still have Roe v. Wade.”

‘May be. But people said, ‘No, she needs to be there to defend Roe v. Wade,’ and now look, they’re both gone.”

The Breakfast Club host has criticized the president in the past, calling him a “fake” for ruining LL Cool J’s name and calling him a “boy” at an event honoring the artist.

“When someone uses the word ‘boy’ to refer to an adult black male, and the speaker is white, it takes on a completely different meaning in context,” Charlamagne said.

In 2020, Charlamagne-Bogue criticized Biden’s record among African Americans and his 1994 crime bill after a controversial interview with the then-candidate.

In a 2020 interview with The Breakfast Club, then-candidate Joe Biden told Charlemagne that “you’re not black” if you can’t pick Biden over Trump.

“I’ll tell you what: If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, you’re not black,” Biden said on The Breakfast Club.

On CNN, Charlamagne said: “He really was one of the people who was on the front lines when it came to the war on drugs and mass incarceration. If he wants to become president, he needs to fix this.”

Biden has apologized to black business leaders for telling the host of a popular radio show that he was “not black” if he couldn’t find a better presidential candidate.

“I shouldn’t have been so unceremonious. I have never, ever taken the African-American community for granted,” Biden said, according to the Associated Press. “I shouldn’t have been such a wise guy.”
