Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons got angry at an official over a call during a loss to the Miami Dolphins on Christmas Eve.

The edge rusher was fined for roughing the passer after hitting Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa during a 22-20 loss on Sunday night.

And the All-Pro linebacker couldn’t hide his disappointment as he went on a furious tirade, screaming at the referee and being restrained by teammate DeMarcus Lawrence.

With Dallas holding a slim 7-6 lead, Parsons almost got Tagovailoa sacked, but Miami’s signal caller had already thrown a pass, causing the linebacker to be a second late when he picked him off, leading to his marked.

“What we are being offered and the positions we are being put in is simply stunning. We just have to learn to deal with adversity,” Parsons said after the game via John Machota of The Athletic.

“The judge said my intention was to punish the defense attorney. How am I trying to punish him if I’m just trying to fire him? Not that it was a late hit. I’m staying on my feet. I didn’t lead with my head. I don’t know how you did it,” Parsons added of his rough handling of the passing penalty.

The Cowboys were flagged six times for 38 yards during a 22-20 loss to Miami. But the Dolphins also had their share of penalties, scoring five for 33 yards in a tight contest.
