In recent months there have been a number of wild house parties that have taken place across the UK.

In February, police were forced to intervene when a crowd of 300 teenagers descended on a home in Worthing, near Brighton.

An A-level student had hosted the house party at his parents’ £600,000 home which was mobbed by 200 revelers who were engulfed in chaos.

The 16-year-old said he had only planned to have a gathering of 40 friends while his parents were away, but the event had ‘spread like wildfire’ on Snapchat and soon hundreds were at the semi-detached house in Worthing, Sussex.

The out-of-control party was broken up by police after receiving reports of out-of-control behavior.

Hundreds of teenagers wandered the streets of Worthing as police dispersed the crowds and shouted instructions over megaphones as ambulances passed by.

Residents took to social media to complain about the horrific behavior by gangs of teenagers.

Zoe Hannah Ellett wrote on Facebook: ‘Straight through and got the side of my car kicked.’ Lucie Ann wrote: ‘I got mine beaten.’

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline after police were called to the house when an 18-year-old party-goer was assaulted and neighbours’ cars were damaged, the boy said: ‘I asked people to come around 8pm and at first everything was calm , and we had a good time.

‘The weather was ok and we had hoped to go out in the garden. But after a few minutes there was knock after knock on the door and more and more people that I have never met started to come.

‘My sister opened the door and had to politely ask people who weren’t on my list to leave.

‘At 8.30pm someone went up to the corridor upstairs and saw from the window that the crowd was going all the way up the road.

“At this point we had to call the police. My dad and I went out to ask people to go home, but some had been drinking and a few were quite aggressive.

“Finally the police appeared with megaphones and forced everyone back.

‘But people I had actually invited were caught up in it all and couldn’t get in, while some of the gatecrashers managed to get in by going through neighbours’ gardens.’

As the event got out of control, as many as 20 police officers were called in to move the crowds on – and ambulances parked nearby as a precaution.

Partygoers used a broken bottle to slash the tires of his parents’ car, which was parked in the driveway.
