Former NFL wide receiver Dez Bryant gave some interesting and completely unexpected advice to the Tennessee Titans’ rookie quarterback.
After coming from behind to beat the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football, Bryant spoke with Will Levis on Twitter.
The receiver advised Lewis to focus on his career on the field and not get back with his now ex-girlfriend Gia Duddy.
“I’m sitting here watching the Dolphins vs. Titans recap. Then I happened to think about Will Lewis’ draft day!,” Bryant wrote on social media.
“If you’re thinking, don’t take your ex-girlfriend back, bro,” Bryant added.

He advised the Titans quarterback not to try to date ex-girlfriend Gia Duddy again.
“I remember she got the nod sitting next to you on draft night. After she went viral, she wasted no time in making herself a priority.
“You have a chance to become a franchise QB, make it a priority!” Great win, champion!”
Levis connected on two game-tying touchdowns to become the first team this century to come back from a 14-point deficit in the final three minutes.
“It’s amazing, I’m delighted,” Levis said after the game. “We’re going to have a fun plane ride home.”
Levis fell noticeably on the board in this year’s NFL Draft – ultimately being selected by the Titans in the second round after being projected to be a first-round pick.
Sitting next to him was Duddy, a Penn State graduate and influencer who has gone viral and led to several brand deals.
“She just signed with Burger King,” Levis told Barstool Sports’ “Mid Show” back in July.
“It’s crazy, I thought, ‘You’re paying for lunch.’

Bryant recalled on Twitter: “She wasted no time in making herself a priority after going viral.”
Rumors of a breakup between the two began circulating around the start of the NFL season.
But back in October, TMSPN reported that they were “really back on good terms.”
Levis took over at QB following Ryan Tannehill’s injury and threw for nearly 1,600 yards, eight touchdowns and three interceptions.
The 5-8 Titans will host the 7-6 Houston Texans next Sunday afternoon.
