Donald Trump ally to release documentary accusing prosecutors in Stormy Daniels case of CORRUPTION as hush money trial begins in New York

Trump allies will step up their attacks on prosecutors investigating the former president next week with the launch of an online documentary accusing them of political activism and campaigning.

‘Chasing Trump’ is due to be released on April 17, two days after a New York court will have begun jury selection in the first of Trump’s four criminal trials.

Its producers say it will delve into the background of the prosecutors overseeing each of the cases.

And with the former president subject to a New York gag order barring him from attacking witnesses, prosecutors, jurors and court staff as well as their relatives, it’s yet another example of how he relies on the MAGA world to dish dirt on his accusers.

“‘Chasing Trump’ is an important documentary that exposes the left-wing prosecutors who are arming the government to target my father,” Donald Trump Jr. said. to DailyMail.com.

‘It is the first documentary to delve deep into the background of the allegations behind the four cases against him and is a must watch for anyone who cares about preserving the rule of law and protecting our constitutional rights.’

Next week, the world will witness the unprecedented spectacle of a former US president appearing in court to start a criminal trial.

Jury selection is set to begin next Monday in Trump’s hush money case. He is accused of falsifying business information to hide payments to a porn star during the 2016 presidential campaign.

He denies all 34 charges as well as having an affair with Stormy Daniels.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin L. Bragg is leading the prosecution.

He is one of the filmmakers’ targets, along with Fani Willis, who is prosecuting the election fraud case in Georgia, special counsel John Smith, who is leading a separate 2020 election case and the classified documents case in Florida, and New York Attorney General Letitia James, who won a civil $454 million settlement against Trump for fraudulently inflating his net worth.

‘Four corrupt, politically motivated prosecutors. One target: Donald Trump,’ says the narrator of a trailer shared with DailyMail.com

‘They say they obey the law. But a close examination reveals politics of the very worst kind that should affect the 2024 election.’

It punishes Trump for taking on the status quo and repeats his constant refrain that he is the victim of a witch hunt.

It’s an argument he is barred from making in the New York case, where Judge Juan Merchan imposed a gag order.

The former president has had to use new tactics to make his point, and at times comes perilously close to violating the restriction.

Last week, he shared a six-minute video clip of Fox News host Brian Kilmeade and George Washington law professor Jonathan Turley, raising concerns about Judge Merchan’s daughter.

“Also, the fact is that the judge’s daughter is an activist who works for Kamala Harris,” Kilmeade said, referring to one of Loren Merchan’s firm’s accounts.

The new documentary is one way Trump’s allies are taking up the argument on his behalf.

‘Chasing Trump’ is the first in a series produced by the conservative website American Greatness.

“These four prosecutions of President Trump are nothing more than partisan activism masquerading as the rule of law,” said Mike Davis, of the Article III Project

Curt Mercadenta, managing editor of American Greatness, said it would shock anyone who thought the justice system was free of partisan considerations.

“As the 2024 election begins to heat up, it is imperative that Americans have an opportunity to learn more about the truth behind the allegations against President Trump, along with the partisan prosecutors behind the cases,” he said.

Mike Davis, founder of the Article III Project, which was created to push for conservative judicial nominees and now campaigns against what it sees as liberal activism in the courts, said: ‘These four prosecutions of President Trump are nothing more than partisan activism in disguise as a rule of law.

“‘Chasing Trump’ exposes the left-wing prosecutors behind these cases as nothing more than puppets for Joe Biden and his political machine.”
