Haaland explained that he preferred family loyalty to online rankings and had struck a partnership deal with cousin and Belgian professional league striker Jontan Brunes early on.

Brunes’ special card has an overall rating of 85, while the former Real Madrid striker boasts one of the highest ratings in the game at 94.

But it’s the other players in Haaland’s superstar squad that have caught the most attention, with the 23-year-old boasting one of the most impressive squads ever seen.

Lined up in a 4-4-2 formation, the Norwegian has assembled a team made up of current and former legends of the game.

Roberto Carlos takes pride of place at left-back, while Real Madrid’s Eder Militao will also join Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk and Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker in defence.

Yaya Toure and Ruud Gullit occupy central midfield positions, while former Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldinho comes on the left flank and Kylian Mbappe on the other flank.

Haaland leads the line alongside his cousin and has one of the best individual ratings in the game at 94.

However, the Manchester City striker has recently struggled to find a City defender and failed to score a single goal in his previous two league matches.
