- “Squatters have no rights,” the liberal lawmaker told the New York Post. ‘How can you even pretend this is anything other than just breaking the law?’
- “It’s crazy that if you go on a long trip for 30 days and someone breaks into your home and all of a sudden they have rights,” he added.

Pennsylvania Democratic Senator John Fetterman insisted he is not ‘woke’ and that squatters have ‘no rights’ amid outrage over a rise in home burglaries that have led to intruders claiming residency.
“Squatters have no rights,” the Liberal lawmaker told the paper New York Post. ‘How can you even pretend this is anything other than just breaking the law?’
“It’s crazy that if you go on a long trip for 30 days and someone breaks into your home and all of a sudden they have rights,” he added. ‘This is insane. Like if someone stole your car and then they kept it for 30 days, now do you have any rights?’
“I’m not awake,” Fetterman claimed.

Recently, a pair of squatters in New York sued a woman whose home they broke into last month and set up mattresses, a flat-screen TV and a massage table inside the $530,000 house they claimed to have legally rented months earlier and refused to leave. .
Fetterman also tore into liberal crime policies that conservatives have blamed for the fatal shooting of NYPD Detective Jonathan Diller.
“I’ve gone to police funerals,” Fetterman said. ‘If this person is convicted, then he will spend the rest of his life and in prison and never have the opportunity to get out.’
Diller was allegedly killed last month by a man who had 21 previous arrests.
A Texas couple is calling for lawmakers to take action to curb logging after the homeowners say they were abused by a contractor who refused to leave their property.
“If this person is convicted, then he will spend the rest of his life in prison and never have an opportunity to get out,” Fetterman concluded. “If you have that kind of established record, it serves no greater purpose to allow people who are abusive, abusive, abusive and not allow them to be held accountable.”
Fetterman also broke with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer over his call for new elections in Israel.
“That’s fair if you want to criticize, but to call for effectively like regime change, I disagree,” Fetterman said. ‘I did not agree because Israel is a democracy, it is our most important special ally. And our nation would not appreciate any kind of foreign input. So why should we do it for Israel?’
Schumer said last month that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government ‘no longer fits Israel’s needs after October 7’.
The New York Democrat said that “Netanyahu has lost his way by allowing his political survival to take precedence over Israel’s best interests.”
Progressives had celebrated Fetterman’s victory over Dr. Mehmet Oz, and believed the former lieutenant governor, a longtime advocate for LGTQ causes and legalized cannabis, would be a champion for their causes.
But in recent days, he has been pushed to the right on some issues, especially after the outbreak of war between Israel and Gaza.
On Thursday, he voiced his opposition to President Biden’s warning that future aid to Israel could be conditional.
“In this war against Hamas – no conditions for Israel,” he said.
Recently, Fetterman lost three of his top communications staff to other left-leaning offices.
