Furious Ray Hadley goes ballistic at Sonny Bill Williams for footy star’s shocking act after Bishop stabbed in Sydney terror attack
Radio host Ray Hadley has hit Sonny Bill Williams with a blistering spray after the former soccer star shared a post by rape-accused social media influencer Andrew Tate in the wake of the stabbing of a bishop in Sydney on Monday night.
Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel was preaching at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley in Sydney’s west on Monday just after 7pm when a 16-year-old boy dressed in black walked up to the altar and allegedly stabbed him several times.
Footage of the attack quickly circulated on social media, with Williams, 38, sharing it from Tate’s X account as the influencer linked the stabbing to comments Bishop Emmanuel had allegedly made about the Israel-Gaza war.
Hadley unleashed on the former NRL star and All Blacks star turned Channel Nine football commentator on Wednesday morning, saying he has a ‘brain the size of a cumquat’ and hitting out at his stupidity to share the post.

“I don’t know how this guy has continued to be employed by the network that employs me,” Hadley began.
‘This is his lack of knowledge of world affairs, let alone what is happening in Western Sydney.’
Hadley then read from the TheWSTNews Australia story before telling his listeners: ‘If you don’t know Andrew Tate, apparently he’s a hero to a lot of young men, he’s a misogynist, he lives somewhere in Romania and he can’t travel.
“He is in Romania with his brother who is on trial for rape, human trafficking and forming an organized crime group to sexually exploit women.
‘He’s the kind of guy you want to retweet.
‘So this guy Tate, from Romania, far away from Wakeley, sees the footage and then posts something which has been retweeted by Sonny Bill Williams.

“His original post on Twitter linked the stabbing to comments Bishop Emmanuel allegedly made about the Israel-Gaza war – which he (Emmanuel) has not made any statements (about) as far as I know.
“He has certainly been critical of some Muslims, as he is a Christian cleric.
“So while the stabbing has been declared an act of terrorism by NSW police, Tate – who is facing charges I’ve just told you of human trafficking, rape and forming an organized group to sexually exploit women – is the kind of guy you would like to tie up with there, Sonny Bill – he subtitles the video of the attack, and this is what he said.
‘Firstly, the bishop is a Christian bishop who has a problem with some of the Muslim faith. But this imbecile in Romania said: “Anti-Zionist preacher ‘stop killing little Muslim girls’ stabbed in Sydney Australia”.

“Sonny Bill, with a brain the size of a cumquat, reposted and said “praying for his full recovery,” along with an open palm emoji.
“So he thinks Tate is right to describe the bishop as anti-Zionist … Be handy one day, Sonny Bill, if you get someone to pick up the paper and read it to you.”
This isn’t the first time Hadley has blasted Williams.
Last October he branded the devout Muslim a ‘lunatic’ for supporting Hamas’ attacks on Israel.
“Like I’ve said, if brains were dynamite, Sonny Bill Williams wouldn’t blow his ears off,” the 2GB star said.
‘It is embarrassing for me and other people associated with this radio and television network that he is employed by – and I think the CEO of the company should review his employment options.’
