I’m A Celeb star Josie Gibson is slammed for mimicking Fred Sirieix with Danielle Harold after butting heads with the Frenchman over her questionable cooking skills
Josie Gibson’s popularity plummeted on Tuesday night after ITV viewers criticized the presenter for mocking Fred Sirieix on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
Siriex was named as the third celebrity eliminated from the show after a tense two-and-a-half weeks at camp, during which he repeatedly clashed with other contestants over camp cleanliness and cooking responsibilities.
But the fastidious Frenchman’s straightforward approach was ridiculed by Gibson, 38, who has repeatedly irritated Sirieux, 51, with her dubious culinary endeavors, including a failed attempt at bean fritters.
Discussing what would be his final Bushtucker challenge, during which he took seven out of a possible nine meals for the camp, former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold said: “He got angry because he didn’t get full stars. ‘
The comment prompted a sarcastic response from the This Morning presenter, who pictured a crying baby relaxing in a hammock.

Mimicking the “First Date” star’s insistent fuss over food, she said, “I’m not the camp chef!” I have to do some potting! Cry cry!’
The imitation pleased Harold, who burst into fits of laughter as Gibson continued to imitate, before admitting: “God, I’m getting really immature now.” I think he hung out with Gordon Ramsay too much.”
However, the incident sparked backlash on social media, with one viewer commenting: “Oh no Josie, don’t stoop to Danielle’s level.”
A second added: “Bruh I can’t relate to Danielle and Josie when they laugh at Fred like that. For example, as you grow up, you can dislike someone without acting like a bully.”
“It’s crazy how Josie can cook with such a huge chip on her shoulder,” added a third.
Elsewhere, a fourth wrote: “Hmmmmm I have to say I don’t like this side of Josie.”
Siriex was sent home after losing to Harold in the public vote when they both ended up in the bottom two in the final elimination.
And many viewers admitted they were thrilled to see him leave the Australian camp after being embroiled in a string of rows.

On X’s former Twitter site, one fan wrote: “No wonder it’s Fred, he’s really disappointed in the way he’s been acting lately even though it was causing tension, drama and being fun which was great.”
Another wrote: “Hallelujah Fred is gone!!! He thought he was all there….so damn bossy!!!’ while a third tweeted: “SO glad Fred is gone!” I can’t listen to him anymore.
A fourth added: “Fred could have easily been in the top three… I think he ruined it by hosting the dinner!”
And a fifth wrote: “I named Fred as a finalist but I think he hasn’t done himself any favors over the last few shows.” I still like him.
