I’m A Celebrity fans believe they have found out the “real reason” why Marvin Humes became the sixth contestant to leave the show on Friday.
His wife Rochelle, 34, met him at the end of the bridge and he wrapped her in a warm embrace.
Marvin, 38, follows, by exception, Frankie Detorri, Nella Rose, Fred Sirier, Nick Pickard and Danielle Harold.
Handsome Marvin didn’t seem to make a single mistake during his time in the jungle, but fans decided he should end his journey in fifth place.
And the reason is that Marvin, although cute, is a little “boring”.
I’m A Celebrity fans have revealed the surprising reason why gentleman Marvin Humes, 38, became the sixth contestant to leave the show on Friday.
His wife Rochelle, 34, met him at the end of the bridge and he wrapped her in a warm embrace.
Fans flocking to Twitter wrote: “I don’t like Marvin but he’s a bit, I don’t know, boring #ImACeleb.”
“I hate to say this because I love JLS but Marvin is a bit boring #I’mACeleb.”
One fan agreed that Marvin was boring, but said it wasn’t his fault: “I always called Marvin boring. Classic ITV montage. He and Nick were having more fun than they seemed. #ImACeleb #ImACelebrity #ImACelebrityGetMeOutOfHere.”
They continued, “Aren’t you the only one who finds Marvin so boring?” No personality if not for Rochelle #imaceleb.”
“Marvin is a nice guy, a genuine guy, but not as interesting as the others.”
In response to an I’m A Celeb tweet announcing Marvin as the sixth contestant to leave the show, a viewer wrote: “Sadly it’s like dishwater so yeah it’s time to go.”
“It’s like people here don’t understand the concept of this show and what people want to see. They don’t want to see “nice”, calm people who are boring to look at.”
Slamming finalist and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson, another fan wrote: “I know he was a bit boring but surely anyone who votes for Josie is only doing it to be annoying.”
Fans flocking to Twitter said Marvin was voted out because, while he was great, he was a bit boring.
Marvin and Rochelle have been married for 11 years.
They have three children together: daughters Alaya-Mai, 10, Valentina Rain, 6, and Blake Hampton, three.
Rochelle rose to fame on S Club Juniors and became a household name with girl group The Saturdays.
Marvin’s band JLS wrapped up their Everybody Say JLS: The Hits tour in November, but announced they would extend it until the summer of 2024.
