I’m A Celebrity contestant Nella Rose has hit out at the ITV show for editing her as a ‘troublemaker’ during her appearance on the reality show last year.
The reality personality, 26, returned to YouTube for the first time in three years as she broke her silence about her experience on the grueling endurance show.
During the video, which was 13 minutes long, Nella also explained to her fans why she left the platform and started working on other projects.
One of those jobs was her appearance on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, where she was involved in several tense moments with her co-stars.
Looking back on the show, Nella admitted that she wasn’t happy with how she was portrayed when she rewatched the episodes.

The co-stars she clashed with included Nigel Farage and Fred Siriex (pictured), who insulted Nella when he remarked that he was old enough to be her father
Nella, who was kicked out second, said: ‘While I was in there they portrayed me as this troublemaker who just went around beefing people.
‘When I came out I realized that a lot of conversations weren’t sent, for example intimate emotional conversations that led to certain comments that offended me weren’t sent, so now I just look like I’m going to mad. The resolutions were not displayed.
‘I only got airtime when I was thrown in with the snakes or when I was in conflict, there were so many conversations that were cut out.’
Despite this, Nella insisted she would still do the show again ‘a hundred times’ after forming close bonds with her campmates.

Nella was upset by the remark as she felt it was insensitive as her father died in 2020 and the argument received 800 Ofcom complaints.
Elsewhere in the show, Nella became embroiled in another drama during a heated argument with Nigel about his immigration policy.

At the time, she said: ‘I think Nigel is a great person until he talks about what he really believes and it’s like, “you’re a cool guy, but why do you think that?”
Nella also discussed her decision to leave YouTube in 2021, revealing that after eight years of creating content, she feared for her financial security.
She rose to prominence in 2016 at just eighteen years old due to her relatable and funny vlogs.
After leaving YouTube, she went on to present MTV’s Catfish UK and also the Channel 4 series Tapped Out.
