Together, they assured the group that they, among other young Americans, would not have to pay off a portion of their student loans thanks to President Biden's actions.  Not all of the influencers were currently paying off student loans, but some were more excited about the news because they were personally affected.

Anguiano assured them that they considered the Supreme Court’s decision wrong and that this time they were using different authorities in response to the ruling. “We are doing everything we can to ensure that — as we see broader fixes to our proposals, that these are delivered and the relief is given to borrowers,” she said.

The White House continues to push forward on the student loan issue despite likely court challenges that could easily result in the plan being rolled back.  But the president and his team are likely to reap the political benefits of the issue in time for the 2024 election.
