Iron Man! Jeremy Renner wears a high tech compression device on his calves that aids his recovery one year after he was nearly crushed to death in snowplow accident

Jeremy Renner was spotted wearing an Iron Man-style compression device on his legs that improves circulation, a year after he nearly died in a snowplow accident.

The Avengers star walked through John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Wednesday wearing Normatec Go compression sleeves around his calves.

In addition to the high-tech compression device, the 52-year-old wore black trousers, a dark green coat, a black cap and a black backpack as he wheeled a red suitcase around the airport.

The Hawkeye star updated fans on his recovery from various injuries suffered in an accident that happened near Reno, Nevada on New Year’s Day.

In addition to the high-tech compression device, the “Avengers” star wore black pants, a dark green coat and a black cap.

Renner wore a Normatec Go device, which helps with lymphatic drainage, reduces pain and soreness, improves circulation and helps increase range of motion.

Renner was hit by a snowplow while trying to prevent the car from hitting his nephew.

During the incident, the performer suffered numerous broken bones and a collapsed lung, after which he spent a significant amount of time in the intensive care unit.

Renner underwent surgery for injuries sustained after the accident, and although he was listed in critical condition, he was released from the hospital on January 17.

The actor has since shared various photos and videos of his recovery process on his Instagram account.

Renner updated his 21.1 million Instagram followers about his recovery process by sharing a video of his story in November.

In the clip, he was seen crawling on a stone platform, trying to test his joints “to withstand gravity.”

He wrote that he “overcame” the pain to speed up the healing process.

Just 10 months after the accident, Renner smiled as he sat courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game.

The performer recently spoke with CNN and told the media that he feels “very blessed and very lucky to be able to stand up straight, walk and live life.”

Renner went on to say that the accident forced him to reconsider his priorities and structure his life more effectively.

The Town star also spoke about the “gifts” he received during his recovery.

“When you’re tested physically, emotionally, spiritually in every way, and then you go through it, it’s hard to explain,” he said.

Renner announced that he plans to release a new music project inspired by his recovery in a post posted to his Instagram account.

The artist shared part of the cover art for his upcoming release, titled Love And Titanium, although most of the cover was obscured by heart emojis.
