“I think it suits him very well,” the seasoned 31-year-old mom told the camera. She said that this was one of the main “contenders” for the boy.

When Ben, 28, told his mother Guinn, who was looking after their four older children while Jessa was in hospital, the doting grandmother replied: “I was just about to read to the kids about St George and the Dragon.”

“We were also going to read about courage, bravery and responsibility. Because remember it’s his responsibility to protect the city?

And while there is St. Augustine, the baby’s middle name was inspired by a Florida beach town, not a fifth-century theologian.

“I think it sounds like a strong name,” Jessa noted in the video’s voiceover. “I think this name is appropriate.”

Jessica shared details of her birth in the first part of her YouTube birth story, revealing that she went into labor on December 18th, but the baby didn’t arrive until 21 hours later.

As her contractions seemed to be moving closer together, a check revealed the baby was in the wrong position for birth, so with the help of her midwife, Jessa adopted “a lot of different labor positions to help the baby turn.”

Jessa’s mom, Michelle, was by her side during this difficult time.

Unfortunately, this meant that the epidural, which was providing pain relief, had to be stopped so that the laboring mother could change her position.

Jessa admitted she was “mentally unprepared” for the pain to return during the three to four hours it took to get the fetus into position.

Once this was accomplished, she was able to re-inject the pain medication around 2:30 a.m. on Dec. 19, and her water broke about 15 minutes later.

Things moved pretty quickly and after just three pushes the baby arrived and was placed in the arms of his crying mother.

Young George weighed nine pounds 14 ounces and was Jessa’s largest child.

The couple’s four older children were able to meet their new little brother in hospital and were delighted when he returned home.

He was especially popular with two-year-old Fern, who really wanted to become a big sister.

“Fern thinks baby George is HER BABY,” Jessa wrote on screen.
