Jodie Turner-Smith is seen for FIRST TIME since ex Joshua Jackson went public with Lupita Nyong’o rebound romance

Jodie Turner-Smith was spotted out and about in Los Angeles for the first time since her ex Joshua Jackson went public with his new romance with Lupita Nyong’o.

The 37-year-old British star ran errands with her three-year-old daughter Juno, whom she shares with Joshua, in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The mother-daughter duo showed off matching bright green knitted cardigans with adorable watermelon appliqués.

Jodie shocked fans when she filed for divorce from the Fringe star in October after four years of marriage.

The day before, Joshua, 45, was photographed holding hands with Lupita, 40, just hours after DailyMail.com exclusively confirmed they were dating.

Jodie seemed to be having a great time with her only child.

The “Neon Demon” actress appeared without makeup and wore black designer sunglasses.

She paired her colorful cardigan with a white T-shirt and baggy blue jeans.

Jodie gave birth to a baby girl in April 2020, and her name was initially believed to be Janie.

But in Jodie’s divorce papers, which were filed in October, it was revealed that the child’s name is actually Juno Rose Diana Jackson.

On Wednesday, Joshua and Lupita showed off some PDA for the first time since sparking romance rumors.

In October, they were seen together for the first time at a Janelle Monáe concert, shortly after their split was announced.

At the end of October, Lupita broke up with her boyfriend Selema Masekela, whom she had been dating for almost a year.

She claimed it was the result of a “deception” that caused her “extreme pain.”

Sources told DailyMail.com that Lupita and Joshua’s friendship has blossomed into a “romance”.

“The relationship between them gradually developed into a romance,” the source said. “They had been great friends for a long time and Josh didn’t want to ruin that.

“But as they talked more and more and worked through their breakups, working through it together added another layer to their friendship. Now it’s a physical relationship. They are a couple.

DailyMail.com’s exclusive confirmation comes shortly after Lupita and Joshua were spotted grocery shopping at the high-end Erewhon store in Los Angeles.

It was the first time they had been seen since their concert in October, which came just a day before Lupita confirmed her split from Selema, 52, and a month after Joshua split from Jodie, with whom he shares three-year-old daughter Juno.

During their outing, a source explained to DailyMail.com that the couple were trying to take things slow while going through recent breakups.

They said: “Joshua has his own type and Lupita definitely suits him. But they’re just friends, it’s too early for Joshua to start dating again.

“Could he be part of Lupita down the road?” Without a doubt… They are both still dealing with it due to their recent breakups and are still striving to recover.”

Indeed, sources told DailyMail.com that Joshua was “heartbroken” over his split from Jodie, who filed for divorce after nearly four years, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The actor wasn’t “thrilled” about the end of the marriage, but insiders made it clear that there was no foul play involved and that their union had simply “run its course.”

Meanwhile, Lupita has spoken more openly about her “season of grief” following her split from the TV host and sports commentator, whom she began dating in 2022.

The Oscar winner waxed lyrical about the “breakup” on Instagram, claiming it was the result of her unnamed loved one “cheating.”

She wrote: “There are much more important things going on in the world right now and my thoughts are with those who are suffering deeply.

“At this point, I need to share my personal truth and publicly disassociate myself from a person I can no longer trust…

Joshua and his ex Jodie first sparked split rumors in September 2022 when they unfollowed each other on social media after previously sharing several loving posts.

They then followed each other, with Joshua brushing off the speculation while gushing about his wife in a chat with E! News.

The couple began dating in 2018, two years after the Dr. Death star split from actress Diane Kruger, who has a four-year-old daughter with The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus.

“She is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful women on the planet,” he said. “And she always does it when she’s on the red carpet. This is truly a miracle.

“But I will tell you that there is nothing better than waking up in the morning, opening your eyes and seeing her face in the morning.”

Joshua and Jodie married in August 2019 and welcomed their daughter Juno in April 2020.

Last month, the former couple agreed to joint custody of the boy.

The Fatal Attraction star responded in legal documents reviewed by The Blast to Jodie’s divorce filing, agreeing that they have “irreconcilable differences.”

Jodie wrote down the date as September 13, 2023, but Joshua said they broke up 17 days later on September 30. This difference is not expected to affect the progress of the current divorce case.

Joshua said he also agreed with Jodie, who has starred in films including After Young, Without Remorse and Murder Mystery 2, that he follows the terms of their prenuptial agreement directly.

However, the Vancouver-born actor, who has appeared in Cruel Intentions, Gossip and One Week, said he had split with his ex over the reported date of their separation.

Jodie is represented by celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser. The actress asked a private judge to oversee their settlement, citing privacy concerns.
