Justin Gaethje has spoken out for the first time since he was brutally knocked out by Max Holloway at UFC 300 in Nevada.

Holloway won the BMF title on Saturday night after an incredible knockout punch in the final minutes of his fight with Gaethje.

While Holloway looked to have the fight going as it neared a decision, he made sure he would get the surprise win with a brutal overhand right to Gaethje’s chin.

Gaethje fell to the floor and did not get up until he was attended to by his trainers and medical staff.

Now the UFC star has taken to social media to break his silence for the first time since being knocked out.

‘What a sport. @BlessedMMA you are a dog. Congratulations. Well deserved double bonus #ufc300.’

Along with the BMF title, Holloway took home an additional $600,000 in Performance of the Night and Fight of the Night bonuses.

It is believed that Gaethje still earned at least $300,000 for the bonus as well.

After the fight, Holloway discussed what’s next for him as he looks ahead to fights against UFC champions Ilia Topuria and Islam Makhachev.

”El Matador’ (Ilia Topuria) he runs from the bull at 145, he said. ‘Ask him to sign the contract. Islam (Makhachev) is famous for defending against (featherweights) right?

‘I am him. I’m right here!

“No matter the weight, I’m a gladiator. I don’t care who signs on the dotted line next.’
