The Vikings wide receiver missed seven games with a hamstring injury before taking the field against the Raiders on Sunday.

But he was sent to the locker room when he took a hard hit from Las Vegas’ Marcus Epps after the catch.

The ball was thrown high over the middle of the field and Jefferson reached down to pull the ball.

He had two catches for 27 yards before leaving.

Considered by many to be the best receiver in the game, Jefferson led the league in receiving yards with 1,809 last season.

He is a three-time Pro Bowler and one-time All-Pro Bowler.
