Kim Kardashian’s Instagram flooded with snake emojis after Taylor Swift’s bombshell interview in which she claimed star ‘took her down psychologically’ amid Kanye West row
Kim Kardashian was inundated with snake emojis in her Instagram comments after Taylor Swift’s bombshell interview with TIME magazine was published this week.
Swift, 33 years old, who was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year, criticized Kim in an interview with the publication for “psychologically humiliating” her and forcing her into hiding during their long-running feud. She also subtly branded the reality star and her ex-husband Kanye West “trash.”
In 2016, Kim famously tweeted, “Wait, is this legit National Snake Day?!?!? They have holidays for everyone, and I mean everyone, these days!”
Much of the pop icon’s next album, Reputation, released in 2017, focused on her experiences during the ordeal – with plenty of snake imagery used in a veiled reference to mum-of-four Kim.
After the interview, many fans brought up her feud with Taylor, leaving the infamous snake emoji in the comments.

The 33-year-old singer, named TIME magazine’s Person of the Year, spoke about the controversy that began when Kim’s then-husband Kanye West included vulgar lyrics about her in 2016.
This all comes just hours after Taylor’s Time Magazine Person of the Year interview was published, in which the pop star expressed her views. about a dispute that began when Kim’s then-husband Kanye West wrote a song in 2016 that included vulgar lyrics about the rising star.
He claimed Taylor agreed to the mention, but while denying this, Kim also weighed in and published what the pop star called an “illegally recorded phone conversation” between the pair, which she said proved otherwise.
Taylor has now said the public fallout has been like “career death”, adding: “Make no mistake – my career has been taken away from me.”
Discussing the fallout and the brutal toll it took on her well-being, Taylor told the publication: ‘You have a completely fabricated footage of an illegally recorded phone call that Kim Kardashian edited and then released to tell everyone I was a liar.’
“It psychologically took me to a place I had never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave my rented house for a whole year. I was afraid to answer the phone.”
Although she did not specify where she had moved, Swift began dating British actor Joe Alwyn in late 2016, and there were rumors that she had rented a house in London to spend more time with him.
During this period, she practically disappeared from the public eye, which, according to her, happened as a result of a quarrel between Kardashian and West.
“I pushed away most people in my life because I didn’t trust anyone anymore. I fell really, really hard.”
After the interview, many fans brought up her feud with Taylor, leaving the infamous snake emoji in the comments.
Taylor’s feud with Kim and Kanye resurfaced back in 2009, seemingly out of the blue, when a 19-year-old Taylor attended the MTV Video Music Awards accepting the award for Best Female Video for “You Belong with Me.”

“I thought this moment of backlash would negatively define me for the rest of my life,” she explained.
However, in the following years, Taylor’s career only gained momentum, while many of her opponents suffered major setbacks, including Kanye.
The 46-year-old rapper recently lost numerous endorsement deals due to a series of anti-Semitic remarks.
Kim has yet to comment on the furor and even took to Instagram to pose for a photo in shapewear to promote her brand SKIMS.
Taylor’s feud with Kim and Kanye resurfaced back in 2009, seemingly out of the blue, when a 19-year-old Taylor attended the MTV Video Music Awards accepting the award for Best Female Video for “You Belong with Me.”
Suddenly, in the middle of her acceptance speech, Kanye rushed onto the stage, snatched the microphone from her hand and yelled, “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you, and I’ll let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!”
Trying to ease the tension, Beyoncé later called Taylor on stage as she won Single Ladies Video of the Year for “Put a Ring on It” and let the country music star take a moment in the spotlight.
But the tension only continued when the father of four humiliated the star once again at the 2015 VMAs.
The pair seemed to be getting along, as Kanye joked: “Do you know how many times they announced that Taylor was going to give me an award because it got them more ratings?”
Kanye claimed Taylor agreed to it, but while denying this, Kim also weighed in on a published “illegally recorded phone conversation” between the pair, which she said proved otherwise.
However, Taylor later stated that his statement really angered her as he publicly stated that it was for ratings, but privately asked her to come on stage with him as it would “mean so much”.
Taylor later told Rolling Stone magazine: “I’m standing in the audience hugging his wife, and this chill ran through my body. I realized that he is so two-faced.
“That he wants to be polite to me behind the scenes, but then he wants to look cool and stand up in front of everyone and talk crap. And I was so upset.”
By February 2016, tensions reached an explosive boiling point after Kanye mentioned Taylor in the lyrics of his hit “Famous.”
Taylor took offense to the rapper’s words: “For all my Southside niggas that know me best, I feel like Taylor and I can still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous.”
The accompanying music video also features a naked Taylor lying next to him in his bed – along with a host of other celebrities – with a naked Kim on his other side.
Kanye defended his position by claiming that he had spoken to Taylor about the lyrics in question beforehand, which she denied.
Taylor went on to accuse Kanye of lying about asking her permission to mention her in his lyrics, prompting Kim to release a partial recording of the call in question.
“I’m very glad that you had the respect to call me like that and tell me this as a friend about the song. It’s a really cool thing and a really good show of friendship,” Taylor says.
Taylor hit back, saying that while Kanye expressed some aspects of the lyrics, she did not agree to being called a “bitch.”
Since then, the feud has continued, with veiled ridicule heard from both sides.
However, Kim most recently posted an update during an appearance on E! talk show with sisters Khloe and Kourtney.
Host Andy Cohen oversaw a game called Squash That Beef, in which the reality star dismissed the idea of any lingering tension between her and the Reputation singer.
“Behind this,” she told Cohen of the feud.
Kim said she let time resolve the issue rather than bring it up in conversation.
When asked if they had spoken, she told Andy: “No. I feel like we’ve all moved on.”
Similarly, last year, Kim gave an interview and was asked what her favorite Taylor Swift song was, to which she replied, “I really like a lot of her songs. They are all very cute and memorable. I would have to look at my phone to find out the name.”
