The Dutch translation of his new book Endgame has branded the Princess of Wales and King Charles as alleged “royal racists” who wondered what skin color Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie would have before he was born.
Neither Buckingham Palace nor the Duke and Duchess of Sussex commented on any of Mr Scobie’s allegations in the Dutch version of his 400-page tome. complain, never explain.”
Earlier this week, the King led his family in a show of unity as he accompanied Queen Camilla and the Prince and Princess of Wales to welcome more than 500 dignitaries to Buckingham Palace for a glittering annual diplomatic reception.
The four most senior members of the British royal family posed together for a photo ahead of the white tie and tiaras event.
Her Majesty looked regal in a cream embroidered evening gown by Fiona Clare and the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara. Kate looked equally elegant in a shimmering Jenny Packham dress and her favorite Lover’s Knot tiara.
The reception is dedicated to the presence in London of one of the largest diplomatic corps in the world and the meeting of Their Majesties with representatives of countries accredited to the Court of St. James.
The royal show of unity will be seen as a sign of loneliness following the furore of Mr Scobie’s new book after it emerged the Dutch version contained the names of two family members accused by the Duchess of Sussex of “unconscious bias”.
Mr Scobie, who was seen as an unofficial spokesman for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, caused a media storm last week after the royals’ names appeared in the Dutch translation of his new book Endgame.

The original version of the book, handed over to Dutch translators, named two senior members of the royal family who Meghan said spoke of their “concerns” about the color of her son Archie’s skin while she was pregnant.
Meghan first made her allegations about the conversation in her March 2021 television interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Harry and Meghan issued a statement saying it was not the late queen or her husband Prince Philip, but declined to name the royals who made the comments.
The Sussexes have refused to publicly defend their relatives, and the publisher of Mr Scobie’s book has provided no explanation as to how the names ended up in print.
However, Meghan appeared to offer the royals an olive branch as she was pictured wearing a bracelet given to her by her father-in-law, King Charles.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, stepped out in Montecito on Monday wearing an array of casual luxury items, including Princess Diana’s Cartier bracelet and watch, and a Bentley & Skinner diamond tennis bracelet – a gift from the king worth at least £4,900.

This is because Mr Scobie claims that he “never sent a book containing such names”, but the Dutch translator insists that the manuscript she received included them.
The source said Time United Talent Agency had previously sent publisher Xander Witgevers a draft of the book, which included the names.
However, the final proof of the 400-page volume was later submitted, but it is understood that the translator was working from an earlier draft.
The Sussexes have not publicly commented on the racial scandal, but a source close to Meghan said “no one from her camp has told Scobie about it.”
