In an incredible act of betrayal, the Vice President of the United States is now undermining Joe Biden’s support for Israel in its war against Hamas.

Poor Joe is facing a full-blown rebellion.

On Thursday evening, dozens of masked White House staffers stood at the front gate of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and demanded an “immediate ceasefire” from Israel.

“We are horrified to see a complete resumption of the killing, displacement and bombing of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip,” the protesting bureaucrats wrote in their letter.

It’s funny, though, that they didn’t mention which side broke the peace in the first place.

Hint: it wasn’t Israel.

Now Vice President Harris is reportedly “telling administration colleagues that she wants the White House to publicly demonstrate greater concern about the humanitarian damage in the Gaza Strip.”

And if that weren’t enough, Harris allegedly called the president someone who could “show more sensitivity to Palestinian civilians.”

She might as well push him down the stairs of Air Force One.

As Biden faces a far-left rebellion over his support for the world’s only Jewish state, his own vice president has taken her stand on the barricades.

Is this a political ploy as Kamala feels the heat from her woefully misinformed anti-Israel base and prepares for Biden to fail to complete the 2024 campaign?

If so, it is understandable why it inspires complete bureaucratic revolt.

But this insurrection is not only embarrassing and politically damaging for the president, it is completely inappropriate and destabilizing for the country.

Thursday night’s outcry followed an open letter last month from 500 Biden political appointees representing 40 agencies (including the National Security Council, FBI and Justice Department) making the same talking points in support of Hamas.

But these whiny pocketbooks are not freedom fighters. These are the privileged punks who should be kicked out of their jobs.

The United States is a representative democracy. We elect our leaders to set policy. Acting contrary to this tradition is in keeping with the authoritarian terrorists they stupidly support.

Even White House interns are getting in on the action. They are so disrespectful of Biden’s authority to set US foreign policy that 40 of them last week signed a protocol with similar demands for a ceasefire.

Is anyone else worried that social media zombies have infiltrated our government buildings and feel empowered to dictate strategy to the commander in chief?

Legislative staff took matters into their own hands.

On Capitol Hill in October, hundreds of people signed their names to a letter demanding a ceasefire.

On November 8, more than 100 congressional staffers walked off the job.

They demanded that Israel stop the offensive, but said little about the terrorists who brutally attacked civilians, cut off the breasts of raped and murdered women and took defenseless old people and children hostage.

This week, a staffer attacked Jewish Congressman Max Miller of Ohio, telling him to his face, “Free Palestine!” while he was talking to a reporter.

Miller said the staffer was “shaking” when he confronted the elected member of Congress.

At this point, it is fair to wonder how deeply Hamas supporters and outspoken anti-Semites (who, by the way, work for Democratic politicians) have penetrated the US government.

Look, if government officials want to support Hamas in this conflict, fine (well, not great, but everyone has the right to be stupid). If they want to bring this point up in an internal meeting, that’s great.

But when you work for the president-elect of the United States, you sign up to support that program.

When decisions are made, you shut up and implement. A government job is not a salary to fund your activism.

How could Biden tolerate such disrespect?

Fire. Their. All.

Biden could see Thursday’s insurrection from his upstairs White House window.

If he did, he should have called the Secret Service security booth and immediately revoked their treasured White House passes.

Guys, we will send you the effects.

Don’t even think about going back.

While he was at it, Biden should have fired the White House chief of staff and the president’s chief of staff for allowing such disloyal employees on his payroll.

Send them packing.

Post their names.

Make sure that they are not given privileged and responsible positions in any future administration.

But what about Vice President Harris? How can Biden tolerate such disloyalty as his presidency crumbles in poll after poll?

There is no turning back from this for Biden-Harris.

How she stands next to him on stage at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this August and says, “I believe Joe Biden will lead this nation!”

Make no mistake, this was Harris’ opening salvo in 2024.

Watch your back, Joe.

Your wounded and these interns can be brutal.
