Mariah Carey embraces the holiday season as she goes for a sleigh ride with her 12-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan…just days after splitting from Bryan Tanaka

Mariah Carey appeared to be making the most of the holiday season in a pair of snaps posted to her Instagram Story on Saturday.

In the first snap, the 54-year-old hitmaker was joined by her twins Moroccan and Monroe, 12, for a sled ride on a snowy track.

The “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer, who was recently spotted on a last-minute shopping trip, posted a photo of herself flashing a smile and looking out over what appeared to be a snow-covered forest.

Carey layered a fuzzy pink jacket over a black half-zip sweater and kept a blanket on her lap while sledding.

The Grammy Award winner kept herself warm in the cold weather with Chanel gloves and black headphones.

The actress donned a striking red coat as she posed for a second photo, in which she also wore leather gloves and matching boots.

The Fantasy singer added an element of sparkle to her look with a pair of sparkling earrings and a chic necklace.

Carey’s beautiful blonde hair flowed over her chest and shoulders as she spent time with her children.

The hitmaker’s outing comes just days after it was revealed that she had split from her longtime boyfriend Brian Tanaka.

The songwriter and the 40-year-old creative director first met in 2006, when he signed on to perform as one of her dancers.

Before her relationship with the entertainment industry figure, Carey was married to Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998 and to Nick Cannon, with whom she shares children, from 2008 to 2016.

The singer eventually broke up with Tanaka and the two were first romantically linked in 2016 when they were spotted locking lips during a trip to Hawaii.

The couple waited until February of next year to make their relationship official on Instagram.

Although they briefly split in 2017, they quickly reconciled and over the next six years, the dancer appeared in various photos posted on the singer’s Instagram account.

Last week it was revealed that the couple had finally split for good and it was reported by People that the creative director did not accompany the singer and her family to Aspen, where they traditionally vacation.

A source recently spoke to Page six and told the media that Tanaka broke up with Carey because he “wants to have a family.” She’s not there.

Neither the singer nor the creative director have yet publicly commented on the status of their relationship.
