She pulled her dark hair into a simple ponytail and hid her eyes behind large square sunglasses.

Merry Christmas to one and all! This is Carey’s ongoing twelfth concert tour.
It began on November 15, 2023 in Highland, California and will conclude on December 17, 2023 at Madison Square Garden in New York City after 16 shows.
Mariah’s winter hit “All I Want For Christmas” has demonstrated remarkable staying power, topping the Hot 100 singles chart during the holiday season every year since 2019 for a total of 12 weeks.
Only two other Carey songs remained at number one for more than 10 weeks.
Her other long-running hits include 2005’s We Belong Together and her collaboration with Boyz II Men One Sweet Day.
That 1996 single stayed at number one for 16 weeks – a record at the time – while We Belong Together stayed at number one for 14 weeks.
During an appearance on ITV’s This Morning, Mariah admitted she never expected All I Want for Christmas Is You to become the mega-hit it is.
“No, I didn’t expect it, and usually when people ask me like, ‘Did you know?’, I basically say, ‘Yeah, I had an idea or I knew,’ but in this case, I didn’t know.

Mariah was later seen leaving a recording studio in the city.
Even though it was dark outside, she was still wearing her massive black glasses.
“It was the first Christmas song I ever wrote and I just wanted it to be real to me. For my little girls… like, what do I think about Christmas, what did I want, what did I wish for?
She continued: “When I first wrote it, I wanted it to be timeless. I didn’t want it to sound like any particular year – I wanted it to be something I could have heard when I was growing up as a little kid.
“I don’t know which version of “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” I heard as a child or “Walk in a Winter Wonderland,” but I just know that I loved those songs.
“So I didn’t think, ‘Oh, my song will be as popular as these songs,’ but I thought, ‘Let me do something that makes me feel like I’m having the experience of listening to a classic.’
