The cast of Married At First Sight have some serious explaining to do after a number of rogue contestants defied Channel Nine’s orders and set up TikTok accounts.
TheWSTNews Australia can reveal that Lauren Dunn, Sara Mesa, Eden Harper, Tim Smith, Tristan Black and Lucinda Light are on thin ice for stepping over their contractual boundaries to launch careers as social media influencers early.
It has been claimed that the show’s producers do not take these breakups lightly.
‘This year the production team has decided to tighten the belt and won’t shy away from making an example out of the rule breakers,’ the insider said.
‘A stark reminder has been sent out emphasizing the seriousness of the legally binding agreements to which everyone has committed themselves.’

Despite the uproar, it is understood that the violators have not been threatened with legal action – yet.
However, they have been “gently reminded” that such a move is within the production team’s rights should they choose to enforce the full extent of their contracts.
TheWSTNews Australia understands several cast members have hit back at the network and are refusing to play ball.

Nine will ultimately get the last laugh with invitations to the prestigious Logie Awards, which have yet to be formally presented by the network.
Surprisingly, villains Jack Dunkley and Tori Adams, Jayden Eynaud and golden couple Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo are among the few contestants who have yet to break the social media ban.
Ni is expected to give social media access to the MAFS cast next month.
