Meghan Markle wows in white dress and towering heels as she and Prince Harry arrive hand-in-hand at a glitzy charity polo match in Miami surrounded by film crews from the Duke’s new elite sports Netflix show
Meghan Markle put on a sensationally stylish display as she and Prince Harry arrived hand-in-hand at a glitzy charity polo match in Palm Beach, Miami, with a camera crew in tow as they prepared to start filming for the Duke’s new Netflix show about the elite sports.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, embraced the glorious sunshine in an elegant white dress which featured a pleated skirt design, halter neck top and a cut-out waist, completing her look with glamorous sunglasses and a chain strap shoulder bag.
She risked a potential disaster by wearing a pair of towering heels on the grassy terrain, but didn’t seem to mind as she and Harry made their way across the field surrounded by heavy security guards.
Meanwhile, Harry opted for a pair of cream trousers, a pale gray jacket and a crisp blue shirt, while donning some tan slip-on shoes – before changing into his team kit and taking to the pitch for the game.

After greeting his guests, Harry changed into his team kit in preparation for the match, which will see him take on Nacho, with both men captaining opposite sides
Harry and Meghan pulled up to the swish venue around 4.30pm local time, with a film crew in tow shooting their every move.
Cameras continued to roll as they hopped out of their white SUV with Harry’s Argentinian polo player pal Nacho Figueras and were led to the clubhouse by excited staff as the Duke prepared to go head-to-head in the charity match against the Argentine star.
The dapper Duke emerged moments later on a terrace where he was seen chatting with guests and posing for group photos.
‘He looked like the typical network guy – shaking hands and smiling for pictures. He looked in his element, an onlooker said.
Harry and Meghan’s glamorous public arrival comes amid expert claims the Duke is working closely with Archewell PRs to stage his appearances in a bid to avoid “gotcha” moments.
Many of Harry’s recent appearances have been very carefully publicized, with little information, video or photos shared before or during the events.
Instead, approved images or video clips have been released hours, even days, after they took place.
That certainly seemed to be the case at this latest event, with an employee at the polo club telling DailyMail.com that only media personally approved by Harry were allowed into the event.
Shortly after his arrival, Harry changed into his team uniform and took to the field on horseback, preparing to take on good friend Nacho – with the two men captaining the opposing teams in the three-way tournament.
As well as taking to the field during the match as a player, Harry is also taking on duties as an executive TV producer this weekend as he joins the filming of an upcoming Netflix documentary project about the glamorous world of professional polo.
Meanwhile, Meghan is working on her own non-fiction series for the streaming giant, with whom the couple have a five-year production deal that was signed in 2020 and is believed to be worth around $100 million.
The duo were flanked by heavy-duty security guards as they entered the event, which is being held at a polo club in Wellington, Florida, near Palm Beach
In addition to playing in the charity match, Harry will also be doing double duty as an executive television producer in Miami, where he is filming his upcoming Netflix series about professional polo
While Harry’s Netflix project will delve into the glamorous world of polo, Meghan is working on her own production for the streaming site that will focus on lifestyle-centric subjects
Harry looked thrilled to be back in the saddle and was seen grinning from ear to ear as he warmed up for the match
The Duke captains one of three teams taking part in the match, which will raise money for his charity Sentebale
Meghan’s project will focus on lifestyle-centric topics such as gardening and cooking in a move likely to allow her to cross-promote her new brand American Riviera Orchard, while the Duke will delve into the “aesthetic and social” world of polo, a sport that he has played since he was a child.
According to a statement released by Archewell on Thursday night, the show will ‘give viewers unprecedented access to the world of professional polo.’
They add: ‘Primarily known for its aesthetic and social scene, the series will pull back the curtain on the grit and passion of the sport, capturing players and everything it takes to compete at the highest level.’
It is not known if the Netflix cameras will be present at Harry’s polo match on Friday, but filming is expected to take place at the US Open Polo Championships, which take place in Wellington, Florida, this weekend.
It has been a busy week for Prince Harry, who has appeared at two different panel events on different sides of the country since Monday.
On Wednesday, he traveled to San Francisco to attend the Uplift Summit hosted by the life coaching company BetterUp, for which he serves as Chief Impact Officer.
Harry and Meghan were joined at the event by Nacho – who is known as the ‘David Beckham of polo’ – and his wife, Argentinian socialite Delfina Blaquier
Meghan smiled and waved to the cameras as she walked hand-in-hand with Nacho and Delfina’s daughter Alba
Harry has been friends with Nacho for years – and Meghan is understood to have formed a close bond with the Argentinian polo star’s wife Delfina
Harry took part in a conversation with The Office star Mindy Kaling at the $1,600-a-ticket event, but – unlike many of the panel discussions and roundtable discussions that took place during the summit – the duke’s appearance was not broadcast live.
Harry had previously been announced as a speaker for the Uplift conference, but his specific event was not included in the official agenda – so the only way to see him was to attend the expensive two-day summit.
Experts told DailyMail.com that this may well have been part of a coordinated effort by the Duke and his PR advisers at Archewell to manage photographs and videos from his public appearances – with any output edited by Archewell or event organizers before it was released.
He made a similarly under-the-radar appearance at a panel discussion in Miami on Thursday night when he opened up about his love for Africa while paying tribute to the work his late mother Princess Diana had done to help those affected by HIV and AIDS.
“Africa is in my heart, Africa is in my soul,” he said. ‘I first went there when I was 12…13 years old and after so many years I wanted to give back to it because it had given me so much.
‘The wide open space, the cultures, the communities, the people, the wildlife, just the freedom was a big part of why I loved Africa so much.
‘We called (our charity) Sentebale – in Lesotho, the local language, it means “forget me not” and it’s really focused on making sure the younger generation is literally not forgotten.’
He went on to honor his mother’s work in Africa, explaining how it helped shape his own charitable endeavors in the region — and his desire to launch Sentebale in the first place.
“My mother had a strong focus on HIV and AIDS, but also on the younger generation because it is their future that is being stolen from them,” he explained.
