Night out with her nieces! Zara Tindall joins her brother Peter Phillips and his children Savannah and Isla to attend Kate’s carol concert

Zara put on a festive outfit as she stepped out for Kate Middleton’s Carol Service at Westminster Abbey in London this evening.

King Charles’s 41-year-old niece was accompanied by her brother Peter Phillips, 46, and both looked cheerful as they entered the Christmas service.

Zara looked radiant in a dark purple winter coat. She accessorized the look with a pair of statement shoes with earrings and a crocodile leather bag.

For the occasion, the mother of three opted for simple yet elegant makeup, complemented by nude lipstick and eyeliner.

Zara, who recently announced she was taking part-time work from her equestrian career so she could spend more time with her three children, wore her blonde locks in a slicked back bun for the occasion.

Zara appeared to attend the event without her 45-year-old husband Mike Tindall.

Instead, she was accompanied that evening by her brother Peter Phillips, Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest grandson, along with his daughters Savana, 12, and Isla, 11.

The purpose of the concert, which will also feature King Charles and Queen Camilla, is to “recognize the dedicated efforts of communities across the UK, highlighting the importance of coming together to support each other.”

Led by a princess, it was created to unite people of all faiths (and people of none) by combining traditional and modern elements.

The Royal Carols: Together for Christmas service will be filmed tonight but will be shown on ITV on Christmas Eve.

The service will feature the world-famous Westminster Abbey Choir performing some of the country’s best-loved anthems, as well as musical performances from guests such as Jacob Collier, Freya Ridings and James Bay, as well as a special duet from Beverley Knight and Adam Lambert.

Poignant readings will be given by speakers including Prince William, Michael Ward, Emma Willis, Roman Kemp and Jim Broadbent.

A specially commissioned poem written by Children’s Prize winner Joseph Coelho will also be read by Leonie Elliott.

The show will also feature an introduction by Kate and films that will highlight the importance of early childhood and celebrate the outstanding contribution that people in our communities make to supporting the youngest members of our society during these crucial early years.

These will include contributions from Rio and Kate Ferdinand, Ugo Monnier, Andrea and Virginia Bocelli and Dame Sheila Hancock.

During the service, Westminster Abbey will be filled with eco-friendly festive decorations, creating a beautiful Christmas backdrop and referencing the children and family theme.

New this year includes a Christmas post box located outside the Abbey where children can send hand-made Christmas cards and best wishes to other children who may be struggling this year.

In addition, on arrival guests will be treated to carols and Christmas songs from the Action for Children Young Carers Aloud choir, made up of 12 young carers, the youngest of whom is just six years old.

It comes after a beaming Kate posed in front of a Christmas tree for a promotional video for a carol service on Thursday.

Guests attending the service were nominated by Lord Lieutenants from across the country, as well as charities associated with members of the royal family.

They will be joined by those working in early childhood, which is a key focus of the Princess of Wales’ work through the Royal Foundation’s Early Childhood Centre.

It will also include those who may have had a difficult year, including children and families, or those who may find the winter period difficult.

Kate’s appearance in the teaser comes after a week of drama for the royal family following explosive allegations from author Omid Scobie.

The Dutch translation of his new book Endgame has branded the Princess of Wales and King Charles as alleged “royal racists” who wondered what skin color Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son Archie would have before he was born.

Neither Buckingham Palace nor the Duke and Duchess of Sussex commented on any of Mr Scobie’s allegations in the Dutch version of his 400-page tome. complain, never explain.”

The Royal Carols: Together for Christmas will air on Christmas Eve at 7.45pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
