Patrick O’Neal was spotted for the first time since the death of his father Ryan O’Neal.
The 56-year-old sports broadcaster was spotted without shoes as he briefly stepped out and stood in the late actor’s driveway in Los Angeles on Saturday.
The day before, he took to social media to share the tragic news that the Love Story star had passed away at the age of 82.
The Wild Hogs vet wore a simple white T-shirt, navy blue patterned shorts, and black socks.
In an Instagram post on Friday, he confirmed that the “Hollywood legend” had “passed away peacefully” surrounded by his “loving team.”

Patrick began his post by saying, “This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to say, but here we go.
“My father passed away peacefully today and his loving team was by his side, supporting him and loving him as much as they loved us,” he continued.
He shared a multi-post series highlighting the many accomplishments his father achieved during his decades-long career and “kicked a** life.”
Patrick is one of four children Ryan has left behind. In addition to Patrick, the late actor was the father of daughter Tatum and sons Griffin and Redmond.
He had a daughter, Tatum, and a son, Griffin, with his first wife, Joanna Moore.
He shared Patrick with his second wife, Lee Taylor-Young.
Ryan had a younger son, Redmond, with late Charlie’s Angels star Farrah Fawcett.
Following Patrick’s post, Tatum paid tribute and shared a statement with People reacting to the news of his father’s death.

“I am very sorry for the passing of my father,” she said. “He meant the world to me.
“I loved him very much and I know he loves me too,” she continued.
“I will miss him forever and I am very lucky that we parted on such good terms,” she added.
The father-daughter duo previously had a strained and difficult relationship, marked by long periods of estrangement.
