Pete, 35, took to Instagram on Monday to deny the rumors, confirming he had a “horrible reaction to mosquito bites.”
The former TOWIE star wrote: “Also, you will all be pleased to know that my face is back to normal after the terrible reaction I had to mosquito bites.
“They saw my face and thought it was a buffet.”

Sam left the camp and was interviewed by program hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly before he walked across a rope bridge out of the jungle, where he was greeted by his best friend, former The Only Way Is Essex and Staying Relevant podcast co-host Pete.
Seeing Pete, Sam ran full speed towards his friend before jumping into the air and throwing himself into his arms, wrapping his legs around his waist and shuddering in excitement.

Tony wasn’t too disappointed to finish second as he felt his new friend was more than a worthy winner.
He said: “Ten days ago I knew. When I first met him, I knew I had never met a man like him… He deserves this more than anything in the world and I couldn’t be happier.”
Sam has openly stated that he is a superfan of the series and admitted that it was “a hundred times” better than he expected.
