‘I really didn’t feel well. My stomach was twice the size and it was a nightmare, so definitely not taking that medicine anymore.
Megan, who has Crohn’s disease, said she was ‘worried’ the reaction could affect her baby, but was assured by doctors that the unborn child would be okay.
She continued: ‘My body is hypersensitive and it’s scarier to have it because I’m worried about it affecting the baby, but after speaking to the doctors at the hospital they said it can’t actually affect the baby who have an allergic reaction.
“So that’s why I haven’t been here, but I’m feeling so much better and I want to get back to cooking for everyone.”
Megan, who cut a comfortable figure in the video wearing a brown lounge set, went on to describe her IVF experience.
She said: ‘Our baby is the size of an avocado right now. How crazy is that. I want to share with you how we got this baby into my womb through IVF.
‘We did a medical IVF cycle transfer. Before you have a transfer, we had our embryos frozen, and then we had lots of eggs and 15 turned into embryos, so we literally wanted a football team, we freeze.
‘And then a few days later you have the thawing process like day two, day three, day four, and our embryos didn’t survive, we were only left with two, which is one of the ones that I had implanted.
‘I had injected myself before to thicken my endometrium. I would inject myself with a progesterone and I would have to do it at the same time every single day.

‘It was so many hormones and it was intense. And I took a baby aspirin in the evening with all my vitamins.
‘I also did acupuncture like every week and when I went to the clinic they had their own special person and a proper acupuncture thing.
“You’re laying on the bed and they basically take your embryo out and it’s in this little tube and it’s so careful and you don’t have anesthesia.
‘When I went in for egg retrieval, you’re basically sedated. I was nervous about going after it myself because I didn’t want to drop it.
‘After we’ve left someone having fertility treatment, you’ll understand that you just have to have McDonalds fries afterwards.
‘I took all my medicine and vitamins until I was 10 weeks and continued to take baby aspirin until 12 weeks.’
Megan went on to give advice to her 2.8 million followers, saying the wait to find out if she was pregnant was ‘so scary’.
She said: ‘One tip, don’t wear perfume or wash with anything smelly before the transfer because obviously the embryo doesn’t like it.
‘Then you have a two-week wait, and believe me, it’s the worst two-week wait you’ll ever have.
‘I really thought it hadn’t worked because I didn’t feel anything but these really bad period pains and my back was killing me.
