Roma’s Serie A clash with Udinese has been called off following a medical incident.
Roma defender Evan Ndicka collapsed on the pitch in the 73rd minute and the match was suspended shortly afterwards.
Ndicka was reportedly conscious but was carried away, with the referee taking the decision in consultation with both coaches to call off the match 10 minutes later.
The score was 1-1 at the time of the incident.
Sky Italia reported how Roma coach Daniele De Rossi asked referee Luca Pairetto to suspend the match while he checked on N’Dicka in the dressing room.
