This terrifying map shows the route Iran’s strike force of 100 drones will take to hit Israel as the Middle East teeters on the edge of full-scale war.
After the bombing of one of the country’s embassies in Syria earlier this week, Iran has launched an attack against Israel by sending drones, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles against Israeli targets.
Iran’s army has said the drones will “reach the occupied territories soon” after flying for nearly an hour.
Dramatic footage shows the moment Israel fires missiles to intercept the aerial bombardment, with explosions seen lighting up the sky.
It comes as the Ministry of Defense confirmed that RAF jets have been moved to the Middle East to ‘encourage de-escalation’.

Yemen-based Houthis have also claimed to have fired ‘dozens’ of rockets at an IDF base in northeastern Israel. It is currently unknown whether the Houthi attacks are linked to Iran’s salvo.
Britain, among Israel’s closest allies, and other nations have reportedly begun supporting Israel by sending fighter jets to shoot down the drones and missiles. US officials added that their military also intercepted drones and missiles headed for Israel.
IDF spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said the Iranian attack was ‘a serious and dangerous escalation’ in tensions, adding: ‘Our defensive and offensive capabilities are at the highest level of readiness ahead of this large-scale attack by Iran. ‘
The IDF said: ‘The air defense arrangement is on high alert at the same time as air force aircraft and navy ships that are on a mission to protect the country’s skies. The IDF monitors all targets.
‘We ask the public to observe and follow the instructions of the Home Front Command and the official IDF announcements regarding the matter.’

US congressional sources say the amphibious assault ship Bataan is leading a US naval task force in the eastern Mediterranean. The Bataan has two support ships and together they have about 2,500 Marines on board. The US also has several guided missile destroyers, including the Carney, in the area.
American bases in Iraq are put on full alert and will also try to shoot down missiles and drones aimed at Israel. In addition, the US has two destroyers and a cruiser in the Red Sea that are fully armed with anti-missile weapons and are also under orders to shoot down Israeli missiles or drones.
But Iran has threatened the US if it gets involved in the spat, claiming it is a conflict between Iran and Israel alone.
Iran’s mission to the UN wrote on X: ‘Carried out by virtue of Article 51 of the UN Charter on Legitimate Defence, Iran’s military action was in response to the Zionist regime’s aggression against our diplomatic premises in Damascus.
“The case can be considered closed. But should the Israeli regime make another mistake, Iran’s response will be considerably more severe. It is a conflict between Iran and the rogue Israeli regime that the US MUST STAY AWAY from!’
