The Cruel Intentions actress walked alongside her gray-haired friend, who wore a cream crewneck sweater over a white shirt.

The man added a pair of beige trousers and black slip-on sneakers with a white sole.

Selma received her Golden Canine Scout in 2019 after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis the year before.

She spoke about Scout in an interview with the magazine Peopleexplaining that she brought him into her life for a sense of stability.

“I am a single mother, often alone with my child, and I needed legal support,” she said.

The Legally Blonde star said Scout is trained to provide physical assistance to her.

“He is with me all the time. If I have a bad (muscle) spasm or have trouble moving and need to recalibrate, he can stand between my legs and help me stand and balance me. It gave me a lot of independence,” she explained.

And about her 12-year-old son Arthur, she shared: “My son, when he goes to his dad, he likes to know that Scout is next to me.”

“I just cried,” Blair recalls. “I didn’t have a chance to process.”
