Sharon Stone, 65, would like Margot Robbie, 33, to play her in a movie after her heartbreaking memoir detailed a rough ride in Hollywood: ‘I adore her’
Sharon Stone is already thinking about the actress who will play her in the film about her life.
The film icon went from being a mentally bullied Pennsylvania student to a bombshell movie star thanks to Basic Instinct, then from stroke victim to survivor and now artist, as she detailed in her tell-all book, The Beauty of Living Twice.
The 65-year-old blonde bombshell wore a pink Barbie jacket as she sat down with The Lady Gang Podcast discuss the man who could fill diva heels.
Stone said Margot Robbie, 33, was the perfect star.
“I adore Margot Robbie, so it’s probably her,” the “Casino” actress suggested. “She’s so talented. After I saw her play Tonya Harding, I thought it was you.”
The former Playboy cover girl also agreed that Robbie was “the greatest” as she chatted with the two hosts.

Robbie is currently at the peak of her career after starring in this year’s summer blockbuster Barbie, which has grossed $1.4 billion at the global box office to date.
The film, which featured Barbie and Ken spending time in the colorful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land, showcased not only Margot’s beauty, but also her ability to switch between perfect and imperfect in the blink of an eye.
Stone had a pretty good life.
In her 2021 book, The Beauty of Living Twice, she revealed some brutal truth bombs, such as how her father beat her and how she had to deal with sexual abuse.
The Sliver star also suffered a massive stroke, which cost her not only her health, but also her career, family and fortune.
In The Beauty of Living Twice, Stone talks about his efforts to rebuild his life and his slow journey to recovery.
Stone opens up about her key roles, her worst disappointments and how she went from a “childhood of trauma and abuse” to a career in an industry that repeated many of the same attacks.
She described the strength and meaning she found in her three children and in her humanitarian efforts, she said.
Stone said Robbie was the perfect star to portray her. “I adore Margot Robbie, so it’s probably her,” the Casino actress said. “She’s so talented. After I saw her play Tonya Harding, I thought it was you.
Stone attends the Women in Film Gala during the 2023 Red Sea International Film Festival on December 1, 2023 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, left, with Robbie at the Gotham Awards in New York City in November.
The former model fought her way back to find not only her truth, but also reconciliation and the love of her family.
This comes after Stone said making Basic Instinct was a “scary journey”.
The actress played murderous Catherine Tramell opposite Michael Douglas as the detective investigating her crimes in the 1992 erotic thriller, which featured her infamous crotch flash scene, and Sharon says the role forced her to face some “dark sides” of itself.
She told People: “I had to face my entire being and it’s a scary journey.
“But once you do, you walk away with a ton of confidence because you had to look at your whole self, the parts of yourself that you would never have to dig deep into and look at, the scary parts, the dark parts, the touching parts. .
“And once you do that, you gain some confidence because you’ve actually looked in a dark mirror.”
Sharon went on to note that she’s glad that the 1990s-style erotic thriller genre seems to be making a comeback, adding: “I think people are loving it. It’s fun, it’s exciting, and it’s sexy. I mean, what’s wrong with that?
The actress previously admitted that the film completely changed her life within the weekend of its release in 1992, and she ended up in hot water when she was spotted in Los Angeles days after the film’s premiere.
In The Beauty of Living Twice, Stone chronicles her efforts to rebuild her life and describes her slow journey back to wholeness and health.
During an appearance on CNN, she explained: “I didn’t know that (that scene) would change the dynamic of my life forever…
“I didn’t know that on Friday when this movie came out, I would basically be a nobody, and on Tuesday I would go get my glasses in Sunset Plaza and go out and get out in my little 325 BMW and I would stop at a traffic light and that’s it. they’ll climb on my car. “And the lights would turn green and the cars would start beeping and I didn’t know, is it legal to drive with people sitting on top of your car?”
When asked if her story was true, Sharon admitted that she was worried she would go to jail if any of her adoring fans got hurt.
She added: “It’s a real thing, I’m driving in my car on Sunset Boulevard and they’re all over the hood and they’re all over the windshield and people are blowing their horns and I’m thinking, if I drive and they get hurt, am I going to get arrested?
“Is it a crime when you’re driving and there are people in your car?” And I’m thinking inside, am I driving? Don’t drive? What is the law about people in your car?…
Sharon concluded by warning fans: “Don’t get in my car because I don’t know what to do.”
