A car engulfed in flames next to the Seattle Mariners’ T-Mobile Park sent a smoky haze drifting over the stadium Saturday night.

The game against the Chicago Cubs was in the bottom of the fifth inning when television cameras cut to a burning vehicle on a freeway near the stadium.

Smoke from the fire billowed into the ballpark and was highly visible in the broadcast.
