And this year will be no exception for her when it comes to one holiday ritual: topping her breakfast with half a grapefruit sprinkled with sugar.

In a video about her Christmas likes and dislikes posted on the Loose Women’s TikTok channel, she explained: “This is going to sound really weird… my mom used to cut a grapefruit in half every Christmas morning and put a little sugar in it and everything.” was our breakfast.

“None of my kids will eat it, Joe won’t eat it, it’s not even that healthy, but I just have to eat it every Christmas.” I don’t eat grapefruit all year round, but on Christmas morning I sit there with my half a grapefruit and some sugar and I really like it.”

Elsewhere, Stacey opened up about what she loves about Christmas, as well as what she doesn’t really like.

When asked about holiday food, she said she preferred hot chocolate, exclaiming: “Mulled wine is disgusting!” Who came up with this?

She also insisted that Christmas pudding tasted like “nail polish” but said she thought it looked nice when the alcohol-covered dessert was set on fire.

Earlier this month, Stacey celebrated her grandmother’s 95th birthday by singing Christmas carols at her care home.

The TV presenter admitted she was nervous about singing, adding that she was “forced to become a permanent singer in a nursing home.”

The former X Factor wrote on her Instagram story at the time: “Today I’m going to be a Carehome singer (sic). Grandma asked me to sing for her 95th birthday today, and now Rose is ready to sing.

“Actually, now I feel so nervous and embarrassed when I sing in front of people, but how can I refuse grandma?”

In October, Stacey told how happy she was that her grandmother had moved into a care home near Pickle Cottage, where she and her family live.

She said it took her grandmother years to convince her, and when she finally agreed, it took Stacey and her sister months to take her to a suitable location.

Stacey wrote on social media: “After years of trying we finally managed to convince grandma to come and move closer to us so over the last few months we found a care home near me and my sister and today she is coming home.”

“I can’t even describe how happy we are. I feel so emotional because we are so lucky to have our grandma in our lives, so having her around where we can enjoy her every day would just mean the world to us.

“We are currently preparing her room and doing everything we can to put up pieces and photos of her and make the move as happy as possible so she feels safe and excited.”
