Stormzy delights shoppers in Essex as he films the music video for his new single Cry No More with Headie One on a high street in Romford

But instead of splashing out at an A-list location, Stormzy surprised shoppers on Tuesday as he filmed the music video for his upcoming single Cry No More on a high street in Romford, Essex.
The 30-year-old rapper was joined by fellow musician Headie One to record their collaboration, which is expected to be released in the coming weeks.
The surprise appearance of such a huge star certainly caught the attention of customers, where Stormzy could be seen chatting with children and fans passing by.
Stormzy sported an eye-catching white and cream ensemble as he shot the video as fans looked on.

A Havering Council spokesman told the Romford Recorder: ‘It was certainly not your average Tuesday in Romford as we welcomed Stormzy and Headie One to film their music video for their new single Cry No More, which is out in a few weeks.
“We are committed to cementing our place as a hub for the creative sector, building on the bid from the City of Culture as well as identifying new ways to attract additional revenue and interest to the borough.”
Elsewhere, Stormzy’s girlfriend Maya Jama recently took to social media to praise her ‘thoughtful’ girlfriend after he treated her to a relaxing spa day.
The session included an ice facial and a steamy sauna – and Maya shared a photo of herself relaxing in a canary yellow bikini.
Maya documented the trip with her friend Victoria Buzzington, who she affectionately calls ‘Buzz’, and revealed that Stormzy had treated her to the outing after the pair rekindled their romance in 2023.
She captioned one of her posts: ‘Feeling down so the boy booked me (and) Buzz a spa day. So lovely, and now I feel like a zen ball of fluff ready for the week.’
