The future of a Strictly Come Dancing professional has seemingly been confirmed after his fiance walked out.
Gorka Márquez’s fiancee Gemma Atkinson inadvertently revealed that the pro will return to the BBC show when it returns later this year.
The mother-of-two accidentally confirmed that Gorka will be returning to the dance floor, but is unsure if he will have a partner on the show.
Gemma, who shares daughters Mia, four, and Thiago, 10 months, with Gorka, turned to babysitting their children as he attends Strictly training.
While juggling her own work commitments, Gemma said she has to rely on her parents as Gorka’s family lives in Spain.

In a now-deleted social media post, Gemma explained: ‘Depending on Gorka’s partner and if he has a partner, depending on where they are based, he doesn’t know where he is.
‘All the childcare falls on my family because apparently all his family are in Spain.’
Last week, Gorka’s co-stars Luba Mushtuk and Jowita Przystal revealed they still don’t know if they will return for the 2024 series.
Jowita explained: ‘Hopefully we’ll be back, we don’t know yet. You’ll have to watch to find out.’
Luba added: “Fingers crossed, it’s very exciting.”
A BBC spokesman said: ‘The professional dancers for 2024 will be announced in due course.’
It comes after Gemma hit back at critics of her long-distance relationship with Gorka on Lorraine in February.
The presenter revealed she is ‘good on her own’ as the Strictly Come Dancing star heads away to work as she likes her own ‘space’ as she continues to hit back at persistent split rumours.

Currently a judge on the Spanish version of the BBC competition, Bailando con las Estrellas, Gorka is ‘at home during the week’ and in Madrid at weekends for filming.
Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine, Gemma said she doesn’t care if people find their romance ‘weird’ because she’s used to it and ‘it’s always been that way’.
She said: ‘He’s in the Spanish strictly as a judge, he’s at home during the week but then at the weekend I get my seat so it’s all right.’
She continued: ‘I understand that people would find it strange that we are apart a lot, but it’s always been that way since we met. Every year I know between August and Christmas and Gorka knows he doesn’t know where to be.
‘Because I’ve done it strictly and I know that side of it, it’s not a shock to me. Army wives, their partners are gone for six or seven months and they find out I’ve been moaning about being alone for three weeks, but I’m really the best.
‘You don’t want to be so dependent on each other that you can’t do anything without them, and I think that’s what’s great about me and Gorka is that he alone is great, alone I’m great, but together it’s like unstoppable.’
