Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift almost didn’t reunite in Australia as the NFL champion had initially decided to allow her to tour without ‘distractions’.
But insiders have claimed he hopped on a plane to give the pop superstar the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift – a romantic reunion with his girlfriend.
Fresh from his Super Bowl win, the sportsman, 34, reunited with the pop superstar after being in Sydney on Thursday morning before cheering her on at her concert later that evening, where the pair were snapped enjoying a kiss offstage.
Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, a source revealed that bruised Travis jumped on a plane just hours after he was accused of being a red flag following his behavior at the Super Bowl parade, where the couple decided to they will never spend more than two weeks apart.

“They talked about letting her come back to tour without any distractions, but they’re so in love right now that the decision was made for him to be there,” they said.
‘They want to spend as much time with each other as possible and that is what they continue to do.
‘Travis will tour with her at all her stops and will return to the States when necessary. They have decided that they will not be away from each other for more than two weeks at a time.’
They added that the fatal shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade scared Taylor, claiming it “made her realize that he is very important to her.”

Travis landed in Australia on Thursday, just days after his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, defeated the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas, where he was cheered on by Taylor and her friends.
His arrival came a week after he was labeled a ‘red flag’ for smiling in a ‘tone-deaf’ selfie with a police officer outside a restaurant hours after the horrific shooting at the Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade on February 14.
A woman was killed and 23 people were injured in a mass shooting on the west side of Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri.
It came minutes after Travis was filmed swaying and having to be held up by his teammates after too much to drink, struggling to speak coherently.
With the celebrations over, Travis is now staying with Taylor at the exclusive Crown Towers hotel in a suite costing $16,300 (AU$25,000).
On Thursday, he was seen admiring the Sydney landmark from the presidential villa.
The 800 sq m home is split over two levels and boasts exceptional views of Sydney Harbour.

The first floor has an expansive living room, kitchen, bar, pool table and a media room for entertaining.
A dining room seats up to 10 people comfortably and there is also a fully equipped office and butler’s quarters.
Meanwhile, the second floor contains a spectacular master bedroom, which has a spacious bathroom complete with marble spa bath and steam shower.
Another king-size bedroom has a deluxe ensuite, where luxury extends to the fitness room complete with infrared sauna.
An outdoor terrace has a heated private infinity pool.
While Travis is just entering his offseason, it’s a busy time for Taylor, who will be playing a series of shows in Sydney before staging a lengthy six-night stint in Singapore.
From there, she takes an almost two-month break before continuing her Eras Tour in Europe.
Taylor and Travis only started dating in September, and since then they’ve been full on with their PDA.
