The Block is being rocked with claims that contestants have already walked off the job two weeks after filming.

Filming for the Channel Nine show, which is underway in Phillip Island, has been disrupted by a couple leaving the series, Yahoo lifestyle reports.

‘A couple have left. They certainly weren’t fired on the show, but it was on their own, an alleged source told the publication this week.

The source claimed that the drama will ‘unfold’ on the show and there is no news on whether the pair were recast.

If the contestants have indeed quit, it will be the second time the series has been rocked with an early exit.

It comes after the brilliant tactics employed by 2023 winner Steph and Gian Ottavio threatened to derail the 2024 season of the Channel Nine series as future contestants may try to follow in their footsteps.

Steph and Gian spoke to TheWSTNews Australia on Monday and revealed their foolproof strategy to win the renovation show.

“When we got the call that we were on The Block in February, the first thing we did, I think three days later, we called Tom Panos to be our auctioneer,” they said.

They continued: ‘He was the first person we called and engaged and people probably wouldn’t believe it.’

The tactic paid off tenfold as the Sydney couple took home The Block crown when they sold their Hampton East home for $5 million.

The western Sydney housemates made a shocking $1.6 million profit when they sold their Gisborne home on season 18 of The Block in 2022.
