The Kansas City Chiefs lost to Taylor Swift for the first time this season in a Sunday Night Football loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Star tight end Travis Kelce had four catches for 81 yards on a sluggish night for the Kansas City offense.

Just a few days later, Kelce brought up the game again on an episode of his podcast, New Heights, with brother Jason Kelce.

“I take my hat off to the Packers, they played better than us,” Travis said. “We were in the game from start to finish. Didn’t end the way we wanted, but we still had a chance to tie it up at the end and go to OT.

“But after two possessions in the first half, the Packers did a great job controlling the clock. But I thought we played damn well.

“In terms of moving the ball, we had 13 plays and 14 plays and both ended in points. But going to the five-yard line and settling for a field goal is the difference between 14-6 and 14-14 in the third quarter.”

Travis then added that games like this are just part of the game and that close losses can lead to better results.

“There’s going to be times in the year where you’re going to be challenged more than ever, man, and I think you’ve got to be able to overcome that,” Travis explained.

“And that brings us back to what you guys talk about in Philadelphia, the culture. I don’t care how everyone plays, I think we have a lot of great character guys in this building who care and want to be corrected.

– And we will fix it. I never doubted it.”

He added: “I’m really excited to get back out there tomorrow to train. I’m ready to bring the juice, the energy and help create the culture that we have.”

The Chiefs will have their work cut out for them when they host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon at Arrowhead Stadium.
