On Tuesday, Trump posted a video on Truth Social showcasing a new set — The MugShot Edition — that pays homage to a photo the ex-president took in August at the Fulton County Jail, where he was being held on racketeering and other charges related to his attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
“Buy 47 digital cards and we’ll send you a beautiful trading card. This is an authentic part of the suit that I wore when I took the famous photo, and it was a great suit, believe me, a really good suit,” Trump said in the video. “So we’ll cut (it) and you’ll get a piece.”
Trump said it would be “a true collector’s item” and “something to give to your family, your children, your grandchildren,” and the website CollectTrumpCards.com called the photo suit “The most historically significant artifact in the history of the United States.”
